Cool pics, I took Winnie's littermate sister to a hunt last night. Wilma just needs one more win to make Gr Nt and had it won with 20 min left and absolutely gave it away. It was heartbreaking. Wilma treed the only coon that we saw and had 225+. The closest dog had backed her and was 100 points behind. Wilma booger barked and I had to strike her for 100 and she never barked again so I drew 100-. We walked in to where they were and she was up in a deer feeder guarding it like it was "her" feed bowl.

I am a man on a mission now. But it is a short mission. It started last night and ends in 2 1/2 weeks. That is about all that my AADD will stand.

Fall is finally in the air. It got a little chilly last night. I turned Boone loose and he treed a coon 450 yds from the truck. I turned him back loose and he treed a coon 600 yds from the truck. I sent him from there and he went another 800 yds and crossed a rd so we drove around. When we got there, he had gone on and finally treed .9 mi from the road and I had to walk in and get him. That means that he was 1.7 mi from where I turned him loose the second time . I think that I am going to have to either hunt him where there are more coons or get in a lot better shape.

Bond, it looks like Storm has done a good job of training Sam.

Well, the season opened in Virginia last night and I didn't get a single text. I guess that no one treed even one coon. Bond and Linkous must have hunted those walker dogs.

Season came in last night and we made 4 trees and didn't see a set of eyes. The last tree was over a beaver pond and the tree had water marks going up it but the coon wouldn't look for nothing.

Shane, you have to read between the lines. In Bond talk, that means that it was 4 AM and his blood sugar was getting low so he had to go to the Waffle House to get breakfast. When he got back, Storm was waiting on him.

Bond, I bet that you can't wait to start hunting Boomer. That 3.32 mi was all one drop.

Bond, that 3 miles was hunting, not trailing or running. You had better hope that Boomer takes after his mother more. But then, y'all have a lot more coons up there so he won't have to work so hard to find one. My coon treeing machines have taken care of all the coons around here. I guess that I am going to have to hit the road to find some more.
