Hobo we did'nt do to bad last night. The rain REALLY helped alot. Of course we had to put up with a tornado to get it. We made six trees on four drops and saw four coons total. Deer season opens here in the morning (gun season) so we won't hunt for a week or two and let them get it out of their system.

Talked to mike for about an hour this morning. He says to tell everyone Hi and all is well. He has been up north hunting alot. Said the hunting is very good up his way this year so far. They are still breeding the dickens out of dizzy. Fiddler is up north somewhere breeding some females also.

Ole Boone got knocked out of the top 10 reproducers. He was there for quite awhile, but I guess records are made to be broken. Good job by an obvious great hound.

I'll try to get some pic. I went back and looked at some of the other threads and saw alot of dogs that are in Tips ped. Tip has Dohoney Jill and Dolly on top bred to Boone 3rd back and on the bottom 3rd back its Minklers Kansas Dancer to Skean's Dolly and Sand Hill Jill's Echo bred to Boone. Then there's Boone Thunder bred to Dohoneys Cindy and that gives you Southfork Dan this is the Sire of Tip. The Dam is Beach Creek Sadie she is out of Southern Pines Jet and Ceder Run Jammin' Ginger and this is how 'PR' Beech Creek Yahoo TIP is triple bred. I talked with the man who owned the Dam all she had was 8 pups tip being 1 of them he said he turned her loose 1 night and never heard or saw her again.

We had a great hunt tonight. Rev. Gregory came down from Jackson with his 15 month male named Luke. Very nice hound for his age. With Hanna out of commission, I broke ole Sue and Lil Hi out for a hunt. Made four trees and saw 3 coons. His dog is still pretty young but he hunts and has a heck of a mouth. Had a nice time despite the cold.

Hey All...

Skinner you know i am tighter than the bark on a tree when it comes to money. lol..The pup DK is sending is out of the female I gave to him. He was nice enough to gimme pick male of the litter and wow what a great lookin pup. All is goin good here on the homestead. Not much time to spend on the ole chat box here but thought I would stop in and say howdy to everyone. Kaylee and I are doin good and are down to just the 2 old dogs and Huggy Bear. Huggy is doin a good job and now that deer season is over I can really pour it on him. I guess I am gonna be at the Battle of the Breeds this weekend, MOH on Friday nite. Oughta be tough huntin' as cold as it is and with the moon up and all. Glad i ll be inside suckin down the hot chocolate. lol...Well hope everyone has great holiday season and safe travels. Dan says I'm only good at turning HIS hunting dogs into big babies. (Funny thing that they are HIS dogs since I usually get to the tree first.) Anyway, I can't wait to spoil this one as well!!! )

Hope all on the Boone thread are finding themselves well. I am glad to see coon season come around again even if it does have to bring the cold with it. Later!!!
