Starting to single Max out. Took him alone last night and he treed the only track he found and had the meat.

Max and his littermate Whip got to use their brains and nose power last night. We cut them loose and they left us hunting but before they got out of sight we seen them lift their heads in the air and start heading toward the creek. They fell treed on a lay up pretty fast and it was impressive. love these young dogs and can't wait till they turn into coondogs. There is no substitute for lay up ability especially when the coon aren't moving or when sows are up with their kittens.

It's a trait that I will not do without. It's nice to be able to tree coons that the others can't or if the coons aren't moving. The dogs that have this trait can move a track better and get treed faster also. It takes a little time to perfect but when they gain the experience there is nothing like it.

both of these crosses are loaded with winners. there are a total of 2 triple crown winners, 4 national grnitechs, 2 purina race champions, world champion final 4 or high scoring world hunt champions, and many more top wins.

I expect great results out of these crosses due to the dogs ability and the dogs behind them. one never knows when breeding, but these crosses sure extend the odds of getting nice hounds.

heat index all week is over 105. summer came fast! one has to be careful pushing a dog in this heat. ticks are at an all time high but I've been able to keep them off my dogs at least. I can't imagine what its going to be like in July and August. stay safe everyone!

Max and Bill did a nice job last night . Hunted out good, drove a track, and treed with the meat. We still have a ways to go with young dogs but they keep me excited

Still waiting on Alice to come in heat. Ran her the other night. She's very nice. Tall leggy beautiful bawl mouth. She can drive a cold track and trees like she means it! Loud short bawl on tree. Has a date w Crockett !

Max and Whip both out of Crocket x Pumpkin got to hunt together last night and didn't disappoint. Both hunted hard and did a great job. I'm very thankful to have hounds that tree layed up coon. They both got under a coon and we got to watch them lift their heads and fall treed.There is No replacement for this trait. I love consistently treeing coon when they aren't moving

If you want air scenting lay up ability in your hounds I guaranty this to be a dominant trait that will show up in pups sire by Crocket. I've never seen this trait as strong as what I'm seeing in his pups even if breed to a female that can't do it. If you want to run a track to catch and get treed faster then the rest breed this trait in

Tonight we got hooked 3 times seen 2 and 1 was a huge tree that could have had a dozen coons and not been seen. Whip out of Crocket x Pumpkin split tonight on a hillside with the meat. He has a huge mouth and is a very classy tree dog. He has figured out how to tree lay ups good.

When selecting a stud dog for your prize female you should hunt with several offspring out of the dog from different crosses. Hunting with the stud dog don't tell you what he is reprocing , but his pups do. I can show 6 different young hounds from different crosses most any time if a person is planning a breeding. Come see for yourselves we have nothing to hide. We breed, raise, and hunt our own hounds. If a man don't hunt what they raise why should anyone else?
