last night

I took Chief and JR out and Chief ran hard track through tree tops and treed in a big den tree i could see the coon in a hole.

Than cut loose and treed a big coon about 75 yards away

looks like a good night looking for my first night of hunting that lasts longer then 3 hours, opening night = 2 hours, sat night = 3 hours by myself, and last night = less than 2 hours. maybe this weekend i can get a good hunt in with some real treed animals!!

Aubrey took Clyde, Foxxy, and Sunni out last night in the wind. He was extremely pleased with Sunni, it was only her second night out and she did a great job.

Took Reb and Maggie out last night and made some noise.... First drop struck off of the lead smoked a track threw the corn field and treed in the only tree in the cow pasture. Second drop dogs went in 350 yards and reb got by himself layed up a sow with 4 kits.

Aub went last night. Took Ox, Rattle, and Bubba. Dogs did a nice job, had to swim in the river, caught one on the ground, and had to fight another that bailed out of the tree.....it was a good training night for the pups.

Here's Chief and Jr on a tree from last night.

And Chief took a cold track and heated it up and caught it in a small creek buy a house so i had to catch him fast and get out quick they don't like hunting. When i got home Chief's nose was all chewed up.

Terry Goza is up for a few nights, so the dogs and mules are out in full force. Took Terry's Rock (Rip X Rose), Dance (Ox x Foxxy), Ox, and Foxxy out. They got 10 last night, and will give 'er another whirl tonight....

Last night Terry took Skinner & Rock, and Aubrey took Ox and Sunni. Dogs did a nice job and got a few more coon for the freezer.....

Chief managed two get a couple plus a bulldose pile and out on a rock ledge that was about 70 feet straight down. Made me a little nervous getting him off there.

I DID!!!! I don't know about up there, but here they took up half the sky. I was awe struck, I had to call some friends and tell them to step outside. Unfortunately, they didn't last all that long. Amazing what you see when you put the remote down and go out in the woods!!

Aubrey and Kenny Deal went out last night and took Ox & Dolly (Rip X Fancy). Dolly split treed once with the coon, she just turned 15 months old. They had a nice hunt, and it sounds like Kenny enjoyed his first hunt off of mules.

Really enjoy your pics! Wisconsin must be loaded with coon. My pup cut her front pad bad so she has been parked for a week and a half, we are really looking forward to Nov 5th when our season opens.

Aubrey went again last night, and took Clyde and Dice (Dice has just come out of heat and so will be part of the rotation now too). Dogs did a nice job....father & daughter make quite the team.

Went out for a little while last night. Getting up at 3:30 am is sure cutting in to my coonhunting time. But i have been making it out for alittle while.
