Haven't been out, work's been keepin'me late. Wanted ta go tonite but the wife had a meeting so I stayed home with the kids.

That buck was killed 4 days after my first born, was a very good week for me My biggest bear is in the pic also but it's hard to see.

I remember you telling me that. Maybe I should of planned this baby during hunting season. I know a few other guys that have done the same thing. I need all the luck I can get.

Corey my son tried out for the AAU basketball last Sunday. The Pella Christain coach liked Brandon my son. I see lots of weekends and money going away!

He is undecided too. He likes baseball and that will interfer some.

Bryan, yeah that's my female. She's due the first week in April, be here before I know it. Think she could make Gr. show pretty easy if she would hold still, almost 5 yrs. old and still acts like a pup.

You guy's getting out much with the weather change. I just started back this week, but alot of den's yet. A picture of Pepper tonight before the rain came. He's looking very impressive this year.

Kattie and Razor. Getting bad when I have 3 hounds I wont part with. LOL I'm hunting them together this week, then thier on thier own spliting time all week. Then Dokken will be on the mix later this year. He's only 4 mo's old now, but can't wait to get him rolling. He's out the night champion female I had and Oppy.

Good luck, I wont hit any hunts until the end of the mo. who ever is doing the best at that time will be the 1st to comp hunt. Last year kept me home because of my knee, just pleasure hunted. Hope to change that this year.

Corey my uncle has many hounds! But mostly young dogs. I will hunt Annie for the first month then after that I'll keep her kenneled and take her out for walks.
We still have Joker that male that sired my last pups. Not real good with helping pups because he just goes gets treed.
Duane and I went tonite and I took my female off Annie and he took Joker and a pup off Scott Clarks Moon female and he did just that. Got treed. The female Duane was hunting opened on the ground some but didn't tree. That females real close to figuring things out. Mine hunts real well has treed some on coon but not alone. This corn season will tell on all Duanes pups and mine.

Lost by 25 last night. Took second and first on a coon and a walker dog took first and first on his coon. Didn't really have that good of a hunt but we had fun. Oh well would of only been good for a second anyway.

that was just pure embarrising for that poor pup .The first time i've ever attempted ta show a dog and the first time he's been on a bench .//LOL//.picked up a yellow slip worth 25 .Guess we better practice this standing purty stuff .Really was just wanting ta get the daughter introduced a bit to the shows as she has a nice female ta start here this spring .As long as my hounds can tree coon it'll be alright for me .

Tonights hunt was one of those where you ask yourself what the hell do I do this crap for. The first drop I took dutch and champ and lets just say the old man put it on champ like there was no tomorrow. After champ and I had a little conversation about covering he proceeded to go get treed across a rather large creek. Lucky for me the water was only up to my belly button because I can't swim. Went home got dried off and some new cloths and headed back out. This time champ smoked a nice hot track right to a huge puch pile where I spent the next half hour digging him out from the middle of it. I guess on a positive note we looked at 2 coon and pile.
