I don't think you'll hear a bad word about Joe, and Ron Manns seems like a good guy

You wont find a better person to deal with then Ronny. I have never hunted with Joe, but I have hunted with a pup out of him. She is real nice, get by herself, move a crappy track, and have the meat. She has a good ringing mouth, That you can hear real well.

Joe is a coondog!
Joe will be by himself, under a coon, allnight long!
Joe will beat you in a cast, and you will walk away liking his owner, and admiring Joe as a fine example of what each of us would like in our pen!

Joe is a nice looking dog and throws nice looking dogs.

A friend of mine has a litter of pups out of him that are several weeks old. The whole darn litter is blanketbacked.

I've heard good things about Joe. A friend of mine bred an old female to him and I was hoping to get a pup but she didn't settle. From what I've heard, you can't go wrong dealing with Mr Manns or Joe.

hey where you froma nd do u know what the stud fee is on joe

I've hunted with Joe, and I'll tell you this much....

He is 100% COON DOG, and his owner is 100% COON HUNTER

Follow the link above for information on Joe, and I believe his owner's number is listed in that post.

If not, he is a performance sire and you could go to the main page of UKC and look at the performance sires in Indiana...Ronnie's number is listed there.

I have hunted with two pups out of Joe out of different females and they both got the job done the night we hunted with them. Ron Mann's is a great guy who will help you out if you want to breed to Joe. He is not a man who set out to own and promote a stud dog, he is a coon hunter that ended up with an above average dog and is willing to share what he has.

I had a littermate male to Ollie's dog.

He was out of Joe and a double pac man bred female.

I sold him for a whole pile of Ben Franklins as a two year old.... Last I heard of him I saw his picture in one of the magazines after he placed second in the registered division at the Grand American.....don't know where he is now.

Do you guys know how Tree Grippin' Joe is crossing on Bozo / Clover females? or do you know of any males off of Joe with some older blood on the bottom side?

Posted by Oak Ridge on 10-18-2007 02:23 PM:

Brogy,

I crossed one of my females on Joe a few years back. Powder is out of Rat Attack and a Tony's Wild Clover Female.

This is the product of that cross.

She has three wins to Grand and has not been hunted much in UKC. Tammy hunted her last summer and that was it...she could have finished pretty easily but she's been relegated to the breeding pen for now...

She can run up a score card as quick as any dog I've ever seen, and do so by treeing real live coon.....treed her first one by herself at about five months old..... they drug a coon through the woods, but she went out in the bean field and ran a real live one and put it up a bush along the edge, has not looked back since.....probably one of the two or three "naturals" that I've ever seen.

This is her momma....so you can see how dominant Joe is in the Color department!
