Singled mine out a month or so ago, would drop for him just one drop. He quickly became pretty consistent with treeing a coon each time. So I dropped him back to back this past weekend. 2 drops 2 coon! He isn't perfect, but I do think I may need to get another one out of him.

Wink I don't know

If it's typical because I've just had this 1 female, but mine never acted like a pup...it's like she was just an instant coon dog

Sounds good from what I've seen she needs a little work but you'll proably see her at the super steaks... And I will let you no if I ever do but I think she will live her life out here from what I've seen... That was a good cross!! I hope Kenny makes that one again

every one wants a world champ at 1 year old now days pups will be pups a very successful blue tick breeder told me one time he rarely started his young dogs out until they were 2 years old the super stakes program has changed the old solid training principles of the past ive seen outstanding young dogs totally ruined by impatient dog trainers with clubs and hi voltage if you want to train dogs I would sugest starting out with reading all the walk with wick books at least 3 times each as 4 bone pups we are hunting one we realy like champion nite champion collectors doc his dam is pluss points dolly doc isn't perfect and there are some things he does wrong at times he is very intelligent and is improving all the time what more could you ask 4 we have a bone pup booked from same cross if you want a barn burner you are probley better off to buy one somewhere training pups is time consuming aggravating at times just keep this in your thoughts at all times pups are just pups and will do stupid pup things

Bone

That's why I got this female they wanted to much to young...I think she was pushed to young and got guzzled at the tree...or something no idea but I like her and she will make something maybe not a world beater but ill keep feeding her and see what happens the cross seemed to work really well.

Completely agree. I've got two here out of my female and Bone. I took them for a walk at 7 months old after seeing only a coon or 2 and they treed one. They are about to be 14 months and I still have not pushed them hard at all. One or two short nights a week for now. The male has been doing a great job by himself for sometime, but my female treed her first coon by herself last night. I have made it nothing but a pleasurable time in the woods for both of them. People expect to win a truck with every pup at a year old.

Now with that being said, these bone pups are awesome!!! Lol as a whole of course. I am super happy with mine. They seem to have e'ry thing it takes. The naturally trash free part (with the exception of the very beginning) has been a nice bonus. I think with time and experience they will make some really nice hounds. Lets keep hearing about em'!!!

Bone Females

Thomasg, the Bone X Dolly cross seems to be a good one. I have a female out of this cross that has been naturally straight and a TREE DOG!!! Also have a Nt Ch female out of Bone and Plus Points Penny (which was Dolly's mother.) Same story naturally straight and a coon dog!!! Fixing to breed her to Serial Cooner. He was the Spring Junior Super Stake winner this year. Bone sure does his part and Doug is a super guy.

GRNTCH Isaacs River Bend Super Phly

2 years old outta Bone and Yadkin Tar Macy.

She made GRNT a week after she turned 2. Has almost $600 won in CHKC. She's a really nice young dog with tons of upside. Made top 24 at the CHKC Lil World Hunt. She's qualified for the 2014 UKC world. Was in the top 100 last year as a 15 month old.
