NiteCh "HAWK" has been Paid Up for the 2015 Performance Sire program since Nov of 2014 UKC is just waiting on a copy of his DNA certificate before they will list him as a PERFORMANCE SIRE. All pups born here will also be PKC Super Stake Pups and from 2016 on "HAWK" will be Paid Up as a Super Stake Sire.

His DNA certificate is here now and I will be sending UKC a copy for their records and then they will list him as a PERFORMANCE SIRE..

Anyone interested in breeding to him feel free to come for a hunt preferably while the leaves are off (or that's when he looks his best if you like a coon dog)..

"NiteCh HAWK" is sired by a direct son of GrNiteCh Totally Awesome Al x Hall's Rolling Rock Star who was a

full littermate to GrNiteCh Neuse River Carolina Big Money ((GrNiteCh Wolfe Creek Rollen Rock x Price's Blue Carolina))

Hawk's mother is a Full Littermate sister to our late GrChGrNitCh "TURBO" dog who was sired by our late GrChGrNiteCh Twin Oaks Big Red Ben ((GrNiteCh Big Red Bull x Tree Rat))

and Briar Creek Ruby.

The first (10) with a female that will run and tree a coon and not a brood gyp is welcome to breed "HAWK" in exchange for a puppy after that, there will be a stud fee on "HAWK"..

"HAWK" has been bred to a limited number of local females with good results so far and there is no doubt he will do his part in the breeding pen.

"HAWK" will be paid up every year for the Performance Program for the rest of his natural life and for many years thereafter assuming we have good results when he gets collected for chilled semen soon.

"HAWK" is here to stay until his death as our "TURBO"
was, and we sure hope he lives many years to come.

"HAWK" does not walk on water nor is he mistake proof BUT, he is a coon dog from the tip of his nose to the end of his tail night after night.

"HAWK" goes hunting when you cut him loose but don't b-line straight through the country.

"HAWK" strikes the minute he smells a coon and opens according to the track.

"HAWK" has a cold nose and great tracking abilities and knows how to use them the right way.

"HAWK" does not bluetick or stand on his head.

"HAWK" can tree a lay-up coon when they're eating in them ole Oak trees a lot of dogs can't even smell.

"HAWK" can take an old cold feeder track and grub it up the right way and put a real live raccoon at the end of it in the worst of weather.

"HAWK" is "NOT" the up on the tree type tree dog that don't move a muscle that I like but, he sure sounds good when he trees although he likes to tree up on some trees and at the base of others.

"HAWK" has a good locate that is easy to identify and he is a stay put tree dog.

"HAWK" is as accurate as a hound gets because he tries to tree a real live coon not just grab trees like a lot of the dogs in the coonhound world have grown accustom to.

"HAWK" has a hound mouth not a feist mouth.

"HAWK" does not have a mean hair in him but will stay with the roughest out there.

"HAWK" is about 55 pounds and carries himself well.

"HAWK" has a good blocky head with a hound ear not cur ears.

Thanks Bobby, he is a decent looking hound color and conformation wise with a good blocky head.

I like his ability to track and tree coon about any night in any weather consistently the best though...

I did Gayle but, he wasn't as described and needed more wood time than I would have available and then, wasn't sure he'd fill the bill..

Looks like the HAWK dog and our direct son of ole TURBO we call "BULL" is what i'll be putting my time in until our "BIRD" female off HAWK is old enough to hunt some.

The one I got down South was a mate to BULL and was supposed to have been much more advanced than he was and I just didn't see it out of him.

BULL is by far more advanced and he has the looks and one of the best mouths I've heard on a hound. Still has a ways to go though which I'm certain will be no problem with timber time..

When this crap clears up, I'll be over.
