Nice hunt Corey and pup!

Duane and I went again too. Didn't run any track Joker and Annie fell treed on a cold coon. We didn't turn loose till about 10.

I will be so glad for April and some nice nights when coon are leaving good scent. When frogs are croaking and crickets singing will be good. Then the corn starts to tassle will be prime time!

Great picture's Corey. Last night wasen't my night. LOL. Walked about 3 mile's for a split tree with Razor and Kattie. Got to the dog's and thier on the other side of a flooded river. Had to find a bridge to cross. 1 mile to see them, 2 miles around to get to them. LOL Then I buried my truck in mud and snow, so I got out the shovel and shoveled for a hr, didn't work, LOL. Called a friend to come pull me out. Was a mile off rd. Lucky he has a lift kit, or I'd still be sitting thier. LOL. Now 8 in of snow on the way.

That stinks. You can have all that snow. I'm so glad ours is gone. Sounds like just rain here. I wonder how them global warmering scientists are liking this winter.

Bryan
That pup is the one I gave the boys that hunt with me. They call him Pinegars Treeslammin Blue DJ. He's tracking and treeing a coon hide on scent only already and has a nice bawl mouth. I sure hope he makes a nice dog for them since it's their first one. They have been out hunting with me every night this week. I tried talking them into swimming the creek for me the other night but they wouldn't have any of it.lol

You got way too **** many coon. I can't even imagine. That has to be nice to start young dogs. That is a nice picture.

Champ looked good tonight. 475 plus but I managed to screw up twice and give him 150-. Still won the cast and got second over all.

Sounds like you had a good hunt. At least you didn't get wet?

Did you hunt at Troy? I stayed in. Hunted 3 times and my daughter is back from UNI so I was spending some time here.

Who won first place in the open?

Nice job Corey. I won't make my 1st hunt until Wanimingo next week. To much snow going on now for me to go to Plainview tonight. It's still snowing here, already over 10 in.

Kenny Schott got first with Schott's Ton's Son 550+. I got second and there were 2 dead casts. 15 open dogs total and 9 nt champions.Jon Monroe won nt ch with 1300 and something. I guess they just had an unblievable cast.

Jeff
You guys got another 10 inches of snow again. That's nuts.

Bryan
Kenny lives north of What Cheer. He's hunting a pup out of his old dog 3/4 Ton. Ton is 3/4 walker and 1/4 bluetick. I always told kenny that 1/4 bluetick is what made her so good. Kenny won't go to a hunt unless he plans on winning. This pup is about 15 months old and has been in three hunts and placed first in all 3.

Corey, congrads on another place with champ. Sounds like I need to get in gear if we are ever going to get drawn out together. I think its getting closer had a couple pf pretty good hunts this week. If I can catch a break this week and get to the woods a couple more times I'm going to start pushing to go to the hunts more often. I know that after the second night he might have been a little sore, he did'n touch his food for about 12 hours. See ya soon.

BRYAN WE GOT ABOUT ANOTHER 4 INCHES, BUT THERE WAS ALREADY4-5 IN THE WOODS BEFORE THAT FELL.

Thanks. Champ did alright. I wish I could say the same for myself. You better bring him down this week. I plan on hitting the woods about every night again this week.
