Habakkuk says that in a day such as ours, the just are going to live “by faith.” Put your faith in God’s facts—that He is king evermore. That’s the way you’re going to live in this day and this age. Why? Because faith is that quality that keeps us going in dark days. Faith sees beyond the physical to the spiritual. Faith sees beyond the present to the future. Faith sees beyond the temporary to the eternal. Faith does not judge by the appearances of the hour.

Don’t you lose your faith. Faith cannot fail. Sin cannot win. Faith is the only message that will see us through, and it’s the only force that can change anything. Let me say that again. Faith is the only message that will see us through. It’s the only force that can change anything.

If you’re saved, if you know the Lord, it doesn’t matter if gasoline goes to three dollars a gallon or if Wall Street hits bottom. If you know the Lord Jesus Christ, it doesn’t matter if they take away your fine house. The Bible says: “You can rejoice in the Lord your God!” Remember God’s greatness. Rejoice in God’s goodness. And rely on God’s grace.
Habakkuk has come to the conclusion of his conversation with the Lord, expressing his frustration and dismay at the way things were going in his beloved land. Truly, It was God’s land, for He had called the Hebrews to Himself centuries ago.
Here is his conclusion: “I will joy in the God of my salvation. God the Lord is my strength.” Here’s where we must arrive: “The Lord is my strength. He will make my feet like hinds’ feet. He will make me to walk upon my high places.”
Habakkuk began by asking, “Why? Why, Lord, why?” God never did answer why. He just said, “I’m going reveal Who: Me. I am your strength. I am your strength! I will make you like a sure-footed gazelle, and you can live on your high places.”
When Habakkuk wrote his book, he said, “It’s for an appointed time.” I believe it was for today. Then he said, “Tell the minister of music not to stop singing.” Don’t let an election steal your song! If the Lord desires our nation be saved then allow a leader to be elected and be given wisdom and strength , if the Lord desires our nations destruction I humbly ask one concession that those bent on lawlessness raise an large army and allow this nations warriors to die a warriors death. Stronger Not Weaker

Good Mornin All ! Its nice day here In The Riverbottoms. Its cool and sunny Yesterday it was cool enough for a jacket. I took a break from my chores and grabed a lawn chair and sat in the sun .I woke up about 45 minutes later that sun felt good and it put me right to sleep. We better get to todays message before I fall asleep again Stronger, Not Weaker

“Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” - 2 Corinthians 12:10

What does Paul mean in this verse when he says that he “takes pleasure” in all of these difficult circumstances? He is trying to communicate that if his money were taken, he would have greater riches. His weakness becomes his strength.

When Paul was isolated and placed in solitary confinement, then Jesus was near. His weakness became his strength. If they beat him and he hurt, then he had the fellowship of Christ’s suffering—his weakness became his strength. If his body became crippled and he was no more able to lean upon the arm of his flesh, then he had to lean on the Everlasting Arms. Paul took pleasure in these things.

God is waiting to make you strong. There is power in our suffering. Suffering is not going to hurt you; it is going to strengthen you. There are so many ways that we suffer many ,Keep your Faith in JESUS and that suffering will give you muscle for the next time. Happiness is a Choice

Hello ! I just got in from deer bow huntin.I most always get a deer every year with my bow.This year about every good shot that Ive had the ole buck has busted me Good bucks just yards away.I guess im just smellin different as Im getin older or just not fast enough anymore.O'well im still happy that I can get to my deer stand and physicaly able to hunt . Todays message is about Happiness,So lets get to it,,, Happiness is a Choice

Today Is Tomorrow

Hey All ! Friday is almost here again. Tomorrow is the first day of shotgun deer season and there will be a many of hunters taken to the woods. May the LORD be with all and keep everyone safe. So we better get started with today.Today is “Tomorrow”

I read some research by psychologist William Morriston who reported that 94% of the 3,000 persons he surveyed were enduring today in order to get to tomorrow.

Do you know anyone like that? Perhaps you are one of those.

Tomorrow, you’re going on vacation. Tomorrow, you’re going to get the house cleaned. Tomorrow, you’re going to start your diet. Tomorrow, you’re going to balance your checkbook. Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow.

The only problem is…tomorrow never arrives. When it gets here, it is today. And today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.

It is always today. Act accordingly!We all look forward to tomorrow .We think and hope that tomorrow will be a better day.All of us has things that we look forward to.I look for the next coming day and wonder if that might be the day Im siting in the presence of Jesus. “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send Him unto you. And when He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.” - John 16:7-8

The devil accuses you of sin. The Holy Spirit convicts you of sin. Do you know the difference? The devil accuses you to drive you from Christ. The Holy Spirit convicts to draw you to Christ.

The devil wants you to get under a load of guilt so you’ll say, “I’m no good. I can’t live the Christian life. There’s something wrong with me. God doesn’t hear my prayers. It doesn’t do me any good to go to church.”

When you believe those lies, you let the devil drive you away from God! He accuses you to destroy you.

The Holy Spirit convicts you to reclaim you. He is trying to correct you and bring you back, that you may know the fullness of joy. The Holy Spirit draws you to Christ that you may confess your sins and be cleansed!

By Your Good Works, They May Glorify God

Good Mornin, I hope you all had a good weekend. They come and go so quick. There is always work and things to be done . Its just a never ending thing. But when we have Jesus Christ in our lives helping us along things go much better. It is very windy here in The Riverbottom this mornin Lets get to the message for the day. By Your Good Works, They May Glorify God

"Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul. Having your conversation [behavior] honest among the Gentiles [unsaved]: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.” - 1 Peter 2:11-12

The unsaved, unbeliever loves to bad-mouth the church, and if you're a Bible believer, they especially love to lampoon and ridicule you. You are to live a righteous, godly life. There is to be in your heart and life none of what the Bible calls here “fleshly lust.” Renounce and abstain from everything that is wrong. Then you must embrace everything that’s right.

Certain things war against the soul. The word “war” here is not the idea of hand-to-hand combat, but speaks of a strategy, a conspiracy. There is a conspiracy born in hell, my dear friend, that wars against your soul, the soul of your family, the soul of your church, the soul of this nation. We are at war with unseen forces from the very pit of hell, and to be prepared for the battle, first of all you must be absolutely and totally clean. A child of God ought to be pure and clean as the driven snow.

Be mindful every day to try and live a pure, godly, clean, righteous, honest, forthright life, that even grudgingly those who hate you will have to admit there is a difference that they can see in you that you have that somethin special that they dont have.
