I'm super excited about this cross and very grateful Woodrow got in Danny's hands. Danny is a houndsman and knows how to get the good out of a hound.

1st breeding was done shortly after I left Danny's house. He is going to breed her every other day until she wont stand to maximize our chances of a large litter. This should be a great breeding loaded with winners and great traits.

We are now using Max, Whip, and Highball in our breeding program. We have seen good results from pups out of these hounds. Max and Whip are both out of the Crocket x Punkin cross. This is the first triple crown cross in history

Candy is out of Crocket x Dancer. Dancer was out of Son x Ring 1st cross. Ring is doubled up Bullet and Too Tuff Betty. Candy is a hard hunting, super independent, super loud male dog type mouth, that trees very hard. She can tree any type of coon and is very accurate. I've had her tree coons on our other hounds that they didn't even know were there. Woodrow is hard line breed with the focus on Rambo's Flag and the old Highball dog. Adding another shot of this by adding Crocket and the outcross of Dancer should be special in my opinion. There are lots of nice hounds stacked up in this breeding and lots of winners. Rambo's Flag (Jane) was sired by Rambo II and that cross will be in this pedigree 3 times. She was a great reproducer and was on the reproducers list year ago.

Had a great hunt tonight with Larry and Jt Smith. Highball and Whip were driving some tracks hard and sticking the trees. The best part of the entire hunt was that every time we cut them loose either by themselves or together they got gone in a hurry. A hound that will hustle will find a coon somewhere.

Whip did a nice job last night. He has a loud voice and is a great treed dog. It will be hard for any dog to hold pressure when they hear him treed lol

do u no of any Grnitechs or nitechs out of Crockett?I've always loved his looks,bred nice and has done a heck of alot of winning but I havent saw any Grnitechs or nitechs being bred out of him.maybe I've missed them,I see u have a few off him and punkin doing good,I had a feeling that was going to be a nice cross.in my eyes he is one of the best looking blues I've ever saw but that's my opinion.

Yes, Grace is a nitech and Max is a nitech. Max passed last week. I'm hunting his littermate now that has 3 wins. Several have multiple wins and some of my best ones died only needing a win to finish. He just got 100 pups on the ground and was on the reproducer's list. Lots of young hounds out there just needing a win or two. I've got a couple females in my kennel out of him that could both be titled out but I'm not going too. I like hunting male dogs. Thank you for the kind words. I sure miss hunting him.

Max was a good one that I won't forget. He did a lot of good things as a young hound that never got to reach his full potential. He is gone but won't be forgotten.
