Two females in heat

I have two females in heat and am pondering on what to breed to or if I am even going to breed them. I have not been Competition hunting much anymore and was wanting other people's opinions on what to breed to. I am looking for a dog that puts a lot of drive in its pups, can run a track and has a good nose. Any input would be greatly be appreciated. They are good females. Jr. just sent you a text. My son has a full sister to Baily that comes in heat once every couple of years and was bred twice with no pups. Would love to have a male out of Baily. I would think Tony Cleavenger, if still alive would no more about crossing her than anyone. Also Matt Underwood might know where a good cross is located. And they are in Tn. Let me know if you breed Baily my sons friend would probably buy most. LOL

I decided to hold off on Bailey this time but planning on breeding her when she comes in the next time. I ended up breeding Lily to a bear dog. Keep in touch with me.

Enjoyed talking to you the other night. I really like the pedigree and everything I hear about Kid. Hopefully we can get something bred to him in the future. I also like the Slim dogs pedigree and everything my buddy tells me about him. I owned the Dual grand female Kat. She was a nice hound and reproduced!

I sold all the pups in one week out of the cross I had made.
They were some very nice acting and looking pups. I kept two and I hope all turn out and help keep the Breathless Blues going.
I sure hope I can continue to kept going.
How are the wedding plans going? How are the hounds?

Hey Elmo! All is going good here. I knew you wouldn't have trouble getting rid of those pups. Well bred for sure! I wondered how many you were going to keep. We still don't have a date yet for the wedding. The dogs are doing well. My dad and I both have litters of pups on the ground I hope they survive! I lost a young female last week. She ran a stick thru her chest and it severed her lung. Very bad deal. I hadn't ever had that happen. I hope you are doing well buddy. Talk to you soon!

Rock died this past week. He had cancer in his kidneys. He was a really good hound!! We will sure miss him! We have been hunting a lot but man it has been hot!!!

Upcoming cross

I just wanted to give an update. We did make this cross. I have had a lot of interest. I really appreciate all the Pm's, calls and texts. Hopefully she took. I am really looking forward to this cross. She is due on 12-22-20.

Bailey had 11 pups on 12-17-20. So far she has raised them all. I am worried about the cold weather over the next few days. If we can get thru that I think we will be in good shape.
