Hb dad use to put bread on a rat trap or mouse trap & fasten it down so it wouldn't fall off when they pecked the bread,then you know the rest.

Got a bit muggy 78 & plenty of sunshine today,works for me better than windy and cold.

came home early,darn laborer dropped a sixteen foot two by twelve right on top of my foot..bout pissed my pants when it hit..still aint got my work boot off yet.its swelled up pretty good id say...

Another day in paradise.

daughter is a nurse,she looked at it ,she didn't seem to think it was broke..black and blue this morning,i iced it down all afternoon and night the swelling went down...didn't feel like going to the jobsite..i think its good enough I can ride around on the lawn mower so I may get the yard done today.....

Hope ur ft will be ok, Rex. Chuck has gout in his and I just got botox shots in my calf for mine. Parkinsons is making my toes cramp constantly...haven't been able to sleep much.

Dang sure makes my ailments seem small compared to everybody else,but if ya really look around there's always somebody worse off than you,be thankful for what you don't have as well as what you do have.

thanks folks,foot is getting better everyday..i still didn't feel like walking around much today...

got to 86 here a bit humid we tore a big versa block wall out today put the new dodge to the test i think the ole ford with 7. 3 has a bit more ump than that new cummins

First day of my first ever yd sale. Having it in an old farm house we use to rent. Stayed in most the day, but it was nice out in NW PA. Made $60 today. Chuck tried mowing the yd, something on the mower broke. He's been working on it for hrs. Its almost 10 so he has to quit soon. Probably have to take it somewhere 😕 need to sell more stuff tomorrow to pay to have it fixed.

Them rummage sales have some good bargains sometimes,67 so far w/ the possibility of humid day got up to 88 yesterday but had a nice breeze to keep it bearable. Club has a pkc hunt Saturday hope it ain't to bad for them fidos.

Dang it might get hot 80 degrees already & it ain't even 9:30 yet.

it looks like it was going to get stinking hot...I went to the jobsite and ran payroll on the two guys that are helping me,,they done great job the last two days without me..i told them to strip the forms on the concrete.then they could start their long weekend...they were grateful to get out of their early today...

got up to 90 here today still 86 at the moment we finished up a bit early today got to the shop at 3;30 came home mowed my grass did the weedeatin & fed now im sitin in the house cool in here caling for storms all weekend guess i'll fight the rain go to pa tommoro to the horsepull boy don't hurry up to brush hog my feild im gonna have to start with the weedeater 4 acres is alot to try to weedeat

We stopped sprayin callin for rain,cloudy & cooled down a bit.

still on the warm side here 75 just came from out the road was gonna stop get a ice cream place was line up 1/2 way out in the parkin lot told the wife no ice cream tonite
