I have mentioned lately how much I love hunting dutch. Remember back about a month ago when I had to go swimming to get to champ. Well dutch grubbed out an old track tonight and treed in the same exact tree, probably the same **** coon. The difference was I was able to call him off the tree and back across the swollen creek/river. Now it took a little coxing but he came and I'm dry.lol

I took a pair of young dogs off dutch I got to work with tonight as well. The male is one classy tree dog. Probably one of the nicest tree dogs I have heard in a while.

Corey how did you and Batterson do lastnite? He said you were coming down and hunting. I would have joined but I seemed to hurt my back scooping lime some how. Duane and I went tonite and Joker treed a lay up about 3/4 in over 2 hills. We got our walk in!

Did you get some pups back lastnite?

Started off slow. Spent a lot of time listening to nothing they just couldn't get anything going. Loaded up and went somewhere else and the split treed in about 10 min. Darren's dog a sow with kits in the bottom of a den tree and champ had one on the outside. Darren's buddy had a male and female off dutch and jazz. He took another job and has to move so I took them to try. They have treed coon before but they haven't been out for a long time so they are little green. The male treed with dutch last night and he is a very nice tree dog.

That sounds good. He must be doing ok for ya. Champ has been struggleing in the hunts. Doesn't seem to want to hunt with strange dogs. He has been hunted almost all spring alone so this week I took him out with different groups of dogs every night. He looked really good 2 of 3 nights so hopefully he will do ok this weekend.

Thanks. I need more than luck. Regardless of how the hunts go it will be fun. Took dutch and champ last night and had a good hunt. Night before wasn't so good.lol How'd the house thing come out?

Congrats on the cast win and 6th with Champ Saturday night. I'll have to come down that way and run Sky and Kaizer with ya one of these nights.
