Crocket's last litter is 6 months old running and treeing. I spoke with Troy Sheffield yesterday about the female he is hunting out of this cross and he said she goes good hunting, trees, and hates a coon. He said she has a good mouth to boot. I like to visit with Troy and keep him updated on different hounds because all of our hounds we hunt goes back to his old Echo hound. Larry breed 2 different females to him years ago. The crosses they made have stood the test of time.

his last litter is 7 months old and started early. we have 2 of them that are hunting good and have reports from others that are are coon crazy naturally starting.

the pups are out of a female from Crocket and the sire is a nephew of Crocket. both are nice hounds. that picture above is Crocket

my female out of Piazon x Grace (Piazon's Amazing Grace Again) I call her Pie, has me excited and wanting to hunt every night. I'm blessed with good females

The future crosses on granddaughters back to Crocket has me very excited. I like to double down on good traits and have added more of these traits by breeding hounds with Mike Sheppard. The Crocket x Punkin and Piazon x Grace crosses have proven to work great. One can never be blind and always looking to add to what they have. I've been blessed! The other good cross was breeding my Candy female out of Crocket x Dancer back to Woodrow. Woodrow goes back to Crocket's brother Jug and his sister Pearl. This cross let me know that going back after outcrossing is working. Woodrow is proving to be a great reproducer.

Larry's Crocket Junior male pup is going to be an explosive tree dog. He has a great bawl mouth that is beautiful to listen to. When they hate a coon as much as this pup they are bound to make one.

reminiscing a little this morning. this was a proud moment because my daughter came down from Kansas City to be there with me. We were always proud of every win but this was more special to my heart. my other friends Mike and Justin also came and we had a great time that weekend. Coon hunting has brought me some great memories that will never be forgotten.

this is the one I wish I would have been breeding earlier. I waited too long in his life to start breeding him. It wont be long before I breed some great breed granddaughters back to him though. I'm excited about the future of our hounds

I wish I could turn back time. Crocket will always be my measuring stick and I would give anything to hunt him one more time. If the choices I have made breeding the females out of him turn out like I'm hoping then I can breed his semen back to his granddaughters in Hope's of getting another one like him. Time will tell. In the meantime I'm going to enjoy the hounds I have out of him.

Nitech grwc Southern Thunders Amazing Grace passed in her sleep last night. She was a good one and the first champion out of Crocket.

I have another full sister to Grace out of a different cross I call Misty that I raised a litter out of Larry's Highball dog. This litter is starting to really heat up in the woods. Getting great reports from owners, but the best thing I've heard is Larry told me his male might be the best one he has ever had. I sure hope we get to put the time on him he needs with our health conditions.
