If it don't harm nothin miss Ridge,use them moldy ones for beddin,yep here comes the rain they say,went home last night & see a guy shuckin corn sent a text to another guy & he said yep he was shellin also.

Boys all I can say is that it has hot ,muggy and rainy all summer . Might not be a good year for some farmers .

We just were talking today about how good the corn fields look around here.
I couldn't use hay as bedding for my horses, my old horse will eat anything.
It rained here most of the late AM and early PM. As soon as it quit, Chuck, went fishing. He only caught one trout so now he has to go again tomorrow...poor guy😉

Yep that fishin is a hard way......but somebody's gotta do it.😁

Showers so far Cooks Mills had 2" last night,I didn't but think that's bout where it stopped was around my place.

Good wet mornin from the land of stinkin,or whoever,as of yesterday I had an inch & 4/10. Got more through the night & still am,callin for 3 to 5 total,we'll see......stay dry.

He caught 2 more fish the next day so we had fish and mushrooms for supper last night. We're still finding mushrooms, he didn't want to go hunting for them because he thought they'd be over and he was getting tired of them...we've had them at least once a wk since July.

Rained here most the day. It wasn't suppose to rain at all, but I guess Gordon showed up a day early.

I ended up w/ 2& 9/10 inches 59 this mornin & a chilly breeze.

just got back in town had a good vist with our amish freinds watch 3 good pulls hit bad rain comein back got held up on 64 in a 4 car wreck 8 hr drive end up bein 10 hrs

I never watched the big game but after a 20 point lead,come on after the Falcons Patriots game I can't help but believe President Trump is right.......It's rigged.

Sat. was the daughters birthday,we got the tickets a month ago,we couldn't get 3 seats together ,so I gave the daughter my ticket for her birthday...I didn't feel like making that 6 hour drive one way..so I watched at home in my recliner with a couple cold beers..it was a hell of a game...but that's the way packer and bears games are supposed to be.....

Well I'm still boycottin football till they deal w/ Kaperdink. But them 2 teams are quite a show.

It was windy and cool with rain off and on here. We decided to take the dogs for their 6 mile run and look for mushrooms. We found 3, one was huge! They were lunch.
After lunch, I went to my friend's to watch the movie: 12 STRONG. 12 American soldiers fighting the Taliban after 9/11 on horses. Came home and Chuck was watching SAVING PRIVATE RYAN for probably the millionth time.

not a bad day here the storms we had yesterday really reaked havoc about 20 miles north of us trees blow down everywhere it blowed a tree down into a house killed a woman

How sad, HB. It was windy here, but the only thing I saw on FB about it was some people didn't have electric.
Didn't get much rain today. I thought my regular trimmer was standing me up so I had an Amish guy come trim the horses this AM. 3 hrs later, my regular trimmer messaged me to see if I wanted him to come....NOT NOW. He had all last wk, to get ahold of me.

Yes that was a bad deal,never know when we'll be called out,gotta be ready is what counts. Another fine day so far.👍
