Making 2 crosses as soon as the gyps come in. 1st cross on a double breed Geronimo female and 2nd one on a granddaughter out of Piazon x Grace. I'm going to be puppy poor but will keep them until I know what I want to move forward with. It's going to be a fun journey that I'm looking forward to. This will make us very short on semen going forward but I have to try. Fingers crossed 🤞

We lost the bigger female a few days ago not sure what happened. The little female is starting to come in and thinking about breeding her to a male out of Big Country and a female out of the Dutch dog and a Uncle Pen female

I'm already anxious to start working with these puppies. I should have my young female ready to start in the hunts by the time they are ready so it works out well.

Went hunting tonight with Larry Hamlin and Johnny Stout. Johnny brought his almost year old pup and I took Diamond. We made 4 trees, looked at 2 coon, 1 possum, 1 circle lol we got to listen to some good Bluetick music and enjoyed visiting.

My daughter has been leash training the pups. They seem super smart and hate cats lol. I've introduced them to scent a couple times and they were interested. Turned 5 months old but it's simply too hot to start them now. Going to be a fun winter for sure.

Taking Crocket's Blue BOOMER on his first hunt tonight. I think he's ready but we will see. I love watching pups start and take off...

I was pleased with Boomer's 1st night out. He isn't scared of the dark or water. Spent lots of the hunt by himself and got to get a taste of coon.

Had the best hunt I've been on in quite some time. Luke brought Whip and I brought Diamond and BOOMER. Diamond got under 2 by herself and Whip 1. She treed another that Whip was right there together. Poor little BOOMER didn't do as much but stayed active.

Took Diamond, Boomer, and Little Bit tonight. We had a good hunt. The pups ran anything that makes a track lol. Diamond managed to tree 1 coon and Little bit treed with her. I love starting puppies.
