Rex, I thought u'd be squirrel hunting. It came in here today. I saw a blk one in the orchard, let LuWee out to tree it, but she couldn't find it.

forgt we had a big cool down over last 2 days was in the 50's yesterday got some rain overnite only got in the 40's today think our coon season open tonite got home & to tard to go

ridge..ours came in aug.1st.ive been squirrel hunting 5 or six times..iam the only one around here that will eat them...

Went riding for a couple of hrs with my friend, we didn't dress warm enough and got cold.
Chuck was picking up chestnuts when we got home. He came down to help us unload the horses. When we walked back up to the house, 2 grey squirrels ran out of the orchard. Never shot squirrel before, but I might give it a try.

Miss Ridge them tree rats is delicious w/ gravy too& biscuits. A damp 47 this mornin.

Ridge I use a electric knife..took me 30 min.s...

we had some rain over nite been spoty till noon now it's putin it down pretty good we got 5 hrs in getin ready to go set a comode for my dad always something to do around here came in from feedin found the wife in the bedroom floor she may have had another mini stroke sy's she got a slight headache but won't go to the hospital said she needs a referal to go to the nuroligist at the big universty hospital that found the blockage in her brain dang she's bull headed

They can't deny her treatment she better have that checked out,prayers up for her,chilly this mornin phone shows 33 now.

load her up and take her to the doctor HB...

she did go to her regular doc this moronin he told her he wasn't quified to try to se what's wrong with her but told her it could be the blockage in her brain has got worse or could have had another mini stroke he refered her to a nuroligst but can't get in till nov 6 but if she had another spell get to the hospital quick she has 2 big blue lookin knots on top of her foot said forgot to mention that grazy dang woman

TD, my mom would make squirrel pot pie. It was pretty good. Didn't see any in the yd today.
Went riding this afternoon and saw 2 flocks of turkeys, a doz deer and a gray squirrel. Got home and 3 deer ran out of the yd and while I was cleaning the barn a nice buck come out and watched me for a few minutes. Hope he does that in buck season, I always take my Mohawk to the barn with me.
HB, Yrs ago, a friend's wife thought she had a stroke, but hadn't pd their health insurance so she wouldn't go to the hospital. She called the ins co and told them she forgot to pay it, it hadn't been 30 days yet so they told her to send the payment. She was going to wait a wk to go to the dr to make sure they received her payment. But she had another stroke a day or 2 later and was paralyzed and couldn't talk.
Rex, I'll have to tell Chuck about using an electric knife. He's done fishing this yr, but he might want to try it next yr, if we ever get the boat out.

Yep them squirrel is mighty tasty,yum,yum.

Ridge,tell chuck not to get discouraged when you first use the electric knife..its like anything else ,the more you do it the better at it you get...once you figure it out ,its the only way to go...I can do a 5 gal bucket full of fish in around a half hour.....you end up with a boneless and skinless fillet...I run the knife down the backbone starting at the head and going to the tail...cut right through the ribs..then run the knife under the skin..then just cut the rib cage out and your fillet is done...
