Happy Birthday, Rex!🎂🎂
We had to let Chuck's dad's barn cat out of a trap. His dad has a bunch of cats, said we should have shot it. Chuck told him it has a sore paw so maybe it will slow it down enough he can shoot it
That was the only thing we caught.

Cloudy, but probably 50° here. Chuck rode horse with me.
We had a fantastic dog in the late 70s, early 80s. She was half Redbone/Walker, but looked like a Redbone.
48 here pokein the rain down suppose to rain all day tommoro had a gyp off of ole timberchopper she was a top coon dog she could tree a coon alot of dogs couldn't smell lay up dog delux proved it to a guy that had what he thought was best around here
moronin folk's wet muddy mess here ground is so saturated it's a shame think we are pretty much shut down at the shop till we get a snow or a inside job
I never owned a Redbone but hunted with one that was a dang good bitch, she wasn't nothin fancy but got the job done,I'd never say I'd never own one as a matter of fact I was lookin for a Redbone when I stumbled on the little Walker dog. The youngest son was wantin a Redbone after he watched Where the red fern grows. Good movie & little Ann reminded me of Doug Robison's Molly Redbone.
yep that red fern movie was a great movie ive had a red dog when i watch that movie i called sandy i am partial to red dogs they are the breed i had best luck with wasn't near as trashy as the other breeds in my book i did own 1 good blue gyp back in the 70s & walker gyp in the 80s but always had a red dog around this is the longest ive ever went witout a hound around but that's probly gonna change before next seson if im still here & able to go
quote:Those are the key words,I do miss hearin a good race & a blowin the top out of tree.
