Thank you Cleo!

1 Peter 1:18-19

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

As pure and white as snow!

Philippians 2:5-8

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!

1 John 5:14-15

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

Questions about the Lord's Day

Good Mornin ! Well I had a wet vacation at Black an Tan Days.It rained every day but 2 days . It was soggy and muddy, But The good thing about it was .I got to talk to several people about our LORD, Orville White, James Headricks , Dale Hinson all men of GOD.There was others that gathered around our campfire to get warm,We had the firepit in a large building with no sides on it where we camped with chairs all around it. So we got to talk to a lot of people . I had a great time .Rain and all.. Now lets get to the message for the day. Questions about the Lord’s Day

>Exodus 20:8 – “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.”

Is it okay to watch television on Sunday? Is it okay to go to a ball game on Sunday? Is it okay to eat out on Sunday? Is it okay to read the newspaper on Sunday? Can I play softball on Sunday? Can I go out on a boat on Sunday? Can I go to the grocery store if we’re out of milk on Sunday?

We hear questions like these all the time. But do you know what’s wrong with them? You’re asking the wrong man. It’s not my day—it’s the Lord’s day. Ask Him. If we honor GOD on Sunday,By going to church, and honor him before anything we do on Sunday as long as he is first,,,He knows we need that gallon of milk ,and every thing,as long as hes first ,before every other thing,I think he understands.... But ask GOD,,because I cant give you the right answer ...God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron,,,Prayers for all...

Ask God, “How can I honor You on the Lord’s Day so at the end of the day I can know that it was indeed Your day?”

The Commandment That Comes With a Promise

Hello all ! Its gona rain here again the rivers flooded and could do with out the rain. Lets get to the message for today...The Commandment That Comes with a Promise

“…in the last days, perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection…having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.” - 2 Timothy 3:1-5

“Without natural affection” literally means “without family love.” If you claim to be a Christian but dishonor your parents, all you’ve got is a form of godliness. You don’t have the real thing. Faith begins at home. If you can live for Jesus at home, you can live for Jesus anywhere. If you can’t live for Jesus at home, it doesn’t really matter where you try to live for Jesus.

God gave Ten Commandments, but the fifth, “Honor your father and mother,” is the one with a promise: “that it may be well with thee and that thou mayest live long on the earth.” Before God tells us don’t steal, don’t kill, don’t commit adultery, He tells us to honor father and mother. In my estimation, the respect and obedience a child shows his parents is a strong indication of how the child will turn out. Dwight Moody said, “I’ve lived 60 years, and I’ve learned one thing if I’ve learned nothing else. No man or woman who dishonors father or mother ever prospers.” God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron...Prayers for all.

God Has Not Forgotten You

Good Mornin ! Its a Beautiful day here in The Riverbottoms.Everyday when I get up and go out on my deck to drink coffee and pray facing the Ole Mississippi and Illinois Rivers ,,I can see the work and feel the presence of JESUS CHRIST everywhere.. GODS here,,He Never leaves us ,Hes everywhere we look.. Lets get to the message for the day... God Has Not Forgotten You

“And He shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.” - Psalm 37:6

A preacher was in a church where he felt God had led him. But nothing seemed to be working out, so he wanted to go to another church.

He told a friend, “I know where God put me, and I know God put me here, but I just wonder if He remembers where He put me.”

Yes, God remembers! He has not forgotten. He is never late. Don’t rush God. Don’t think He has abandoned you because your prayers are not answered. He will turn your midnight into a sunrise and your mourning into dancing.

Read Psalm 37:4-7 and rejoice in the hope of God’s providence and provision in your life. God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron... Need any Prayers for some one that you Love Just ask..Prayers for all

Grateful---for We are Blessed

Good Mornin ! Friday mornin at that. Another week gone by years almost half over. Lets get to todays message. Grateful—for We Are Blessed!

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” - Philippians 4:6

Sometimes we complain when we shouldn’t.

I remember one time driving to a coonhunt and me and my friend that went with me complained about almost everything,The Price of gas,, The price of a gallon of milk, you name it and we complained about it. My friend looked at me and said, " Man were are sure complaining about stuff,,, look at the good things that we do have.

I thought, “Oh, what an ungrateful spirit I have!” " LORD Forgive me.

Do you ever complain about dirty dishes? There are lots of folks in Third World countries that would like to have some dirty dishes. We are to be thankful in all things.

Rejoice in God’s blessings in your life. Nip that temptation in the bud to complain and grumble about your life today.God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron..Prayers sent for all...

James 3:17-18

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.
