10° here. Gave the horses Xtra hay. Tomorrow I have an appt to get my truck worked on, the forecasted high is 4° with -25° wind chill... should stay home, but beside replacing the cab light, I made an appointment with a company to get my windshield replaced while it's at the dealer. The windshield is cracked the whole way across the bottom (Chuck did it) hope it doesn't shatter when I'm driving tomorrow.

I got minus 6 degrees this morning and a stiff wind..windchill of minus 34...think I will stay in today..

Now it's showin -9 what a bone chiller day this is gonna be,you can hear the wind whistlin through the cracks here at the elevator,they never got the new building air tight,sure am glad I don't live on that open icebox of a prairie. Weather on phone shows -41

Yep & then knock over half the crop when they try & harvest it w/ their too big of equipment,don't figure does it? Got -13 now & the suns up & only callin for a +2 for the high,oh me. The feels like temp. now is -48

it's 9 degrees with 21 mph wind & cust up to 40mph windchill is -8 at the moment just got in been a bad moronin bos tore the salt box up for the dump truck told us to just dump it in the bed man that was a mistake dang brine salt froze up solid as a rock speder kept clogin up told the boy with me money he says he's savein on salt spendin it on wages what we do in 2-1/2 hrs took us 5 hrs all because that junk salt

I hear ya Hb,blow 10 bucks to save a dime.

Yeah it's a warmup this fine day from -24 to -19 ,lol wind chill -54 degrees and more records to be broken ,lol


Digital thermometer says it 72 degrees here in the house . Ground has a foot or better of snow cover , when it melts the ground will got some free nitrogen .

yep sure a bad cold snap has hit us all it's just steadly gettin colder here im sure not lookin forward to going out tonite but guess i gotta go went by my snowbuddys house he bought him 1 of them big salt dog fiberglass spreaders

it's down to 8 degrees at the moment with a windchill of -11 below need to get on the hill feed the horse & pony gonna have to go try get the lots busted up don't see much happening with these frigd temps salt probly not going to do nothing

Good mornin everybody,hope all made it through the night,NO wind this mornin got a -8 but ain't that bad out,ready to go at it in a bit.....have a dandy day all.

it's the big 0 right now but the windchill is - 12 had to go back out yesterday evenin throw salt on the lot's didn't get in till about midnite watin on the boss to call have to go get 2 loads of salt suppose to get about a inch of snow tonite then suppose to get then another inch or so tommoro then saturday it gets into the 40s and 50s with rain we don't need

Well we are up to -6 at high noon !!! Bright sunshine , I guess the record of -27 last night is the new record .
This weather is rough on everything Man and beast ,steel gets more brittle the colder it gets making easier to bust shocks and springs on our cheap vehicles ,lol. I must be getting to be an old grouch .

Rex, how did your daughter make out with her car? I'm not happy with the guys I bought my truck from. I had it in for repairs and the service guy put my seat back hard enough that he put off my fire extinguisher. He thought it was funny, but I told him I'd get all my stuff out of it and bring it back so they could get it cleaned up.

Ain't nothin worse than when you send something in to have it worked on & some smart a** pulls a stunt like that,it rubs me the wrong way too Miss Ridge,no wind again ..... it almost feels like spring (almost) *take note. 21 degrees

she had to pay some but nothing like what they tried to say she had too pay..she ended up with her car fixed and was happy with the out come.we had to go to battle with them for 3 months .but it worked out...
