T-Top Bubba Red

Ace and Daisy Duke pup.Best natured pup I have ever owned.

Nice pup

I've got a litter mate male coming to your Bubba pup...man-oh-man...if he's as good looking as your pup, I'll be a happy camper.

That's a real nice looking male, put up right with lots of legs and a real nice look overall. I wish you the best of luck with him, he is put together right with a lot of good blood in his background.

Ace pup

Thay is one fine looken pup. My partner in MO has a litter mate it. He likes it a lot. Good luck with yours, keep us posted with its progress.

Dagger

I think I will just keep Dagger and you can have the papers I already sent you Tom. LOL! I may have to hide him some where. Don't you ever think Dagger isn't a looker too and he is Dark. Molly that is a beautiful pup. Love seeing the pictures of the young dogs out of Ace. Ace is still only a year old himself. I will have to find me another good female as I get calls almost everyday for Ace pups as you men and Ladies keep posting your pups. Thanks so much and I hope all continues to enjoy their young dogs. I need to find me another female Tom. Must be at least half T-Top. Dave P.S. Wonder how a Moose or Haze female would work on Ace?

T-Top Dark Timber Dagger's Ghost

Tom took Dagger to the woods this evening and sent you some pictures of him in the woods by e-mail. Dave

Dagger's Ghost

I got the pictures Dave, he's a really nice looking male especially out and about like that. He's sure got the look and overall make up of an outstanding hound...he reminds me a lot of some dogs we've had in the long ago past.

He carries himself the way I like to see a hound carry himself. He seems long and tall and sporty at the same time and that's the way I like it.

Has he got Ace's mouth to go along with those good looks?

Hunt

Dave took Yank and Gun to the woods last night again and it looks like he had a pretty good outing. He has a way of getting pictures from a different perspective now and then and last night was one of those nights...

Gun...looking good...on the wood...

These are some nice shots of Yank and Gun...

Little different perspective...

The ghost dog puts in another mysterious appearance...

The ghost dog must follow Dave around...I think he was clicking the pictures the last time he showed up too...I think it's an omen of things to come...I think that the last time the ghost dog showed up...Moose was in training

I didn't get the whole story yet but it looks like it was a productive night.

Spook

Hey Buck...the big guy looks good on the wood. He seems to be willing to give it what ever he's got when ever he gets the chance...it's nice to have a solid hound like that.

I messed up my back last weekend but it's getting better...I'm hoping to get Cherry out and about this weekend if she's over her heat. She seems to be hanging on with it but should be done by this weekend so we'll see if we can put her out with any of the boys

We'd like to take a trip down to Southern Iowa next weekend, 5/13 to visit with Aaron and some other folks and I was really hoping we could drag her along for some pleasure hunting but...I guess we'll see how it works out.

I hope you're feeling better Buck...it's no fun to have to deal with allergies, especially in the spring and early summer.

Yank and Gun

Dave and Cruz took Yank and Gun to the woods last night and had a pretty good hunt...3 trees...3 coon.
Yank and Gun...

Is he up there???

Yep!

Dave called me about 20 minutes after he left to go hunting and I could hear Yank and Gun treeing hard. He said that Gun had started opening on the lead and standing on his hind legs and barking staight into the wind. He let him go alone and he said he barked on the ground a couple of times and then located and came treed about 30 yards away. He let Yank go to cover him and he started treeing hard right away too...they had the coon.

Gun is a real nice pup...but he's still a pup. He will run a track like a pro and tree hard on any track but he'll also let Yank get away from him now and then and then have to work his back side off to get caught up...sometimes after Yank has already treed. Those are good lessons for a young dog, it teaches them to pay attention to business or they get left behind. Gun is just about ready to single out at 10 months of age and I'd venture to say that he's gonna be tough by this fall...and maybe even before that.

Tom i believe Dave might have raised the easiest starting pups i ever seen.

Starting pups

Yep, there's a bit of effort required to keep them in the woods once they get with the program but it starts with getting the right dogs together up front and it appears that Dave may have himself a keeper there in Ace.

I've always got my eyes open for the next big thing in a line, there are good dogs that come and go but the ones that can reproduce what we're looking for don't come along every day.

I like a pup with a good attitude and one that's willing to do what comes natural without a lot of waiting...these pups seem to have the goods and are line bred real close so it all lines up the way I like it.

We never know what a dog will grow into but it sure makes it fun when they're willing to participate and start to figure things out so early.

I would like this dog to be in WI, MN or northern IL... i HOPEING for a guy to help me out and take a pup for the stud fee but i will pay if neccisary. i dont want to use AI because i did that the last time i bred her and it cost WAY TO MUCH

i'm not lookin to AI and from what i hear that is all they are doing with Rage, and Rage is in one of the Dakotas so i cant get any fresh semen and frozen is EXTREMELY expensive to have the female AI'd with... hence why i wanna live breed

Hey Buck...I'm glad to see Moose back in action...I'll bet it feels good to be following him in the woods again...eh?

I'm hoping you guys are having a good time with your hunting expedition and that you all tree a pile of coons and enjoy some good ol' fashion BS...considering the group of guys I saw on the other post...I'd say that the BS is a sure thing...

Moose looks good Buck...I'll bet he's enjoying his time back in the woods.

Dogs

The dogs look good Buck...it's a treat seeing Moose and Sally on the same tree...it's kind of easy to see how similar they are in style.

Moe looks good too, he's a youngster yet but he's got nice style on the tree.

I hope you guys didn't have to climb too many mountains and that the trees were quick.

I can also see that Moose is enjoying his time back in the woods...that's good...

Wish I was there guys...

Moe and Joe...

I'll look forward to seeing that Jason...it's a neat trick to get mates together like that and sire and grand dam and cousins...it was a real family affair...eh?

It reminds me of the fall when we have company up here to hunt...those are good times and something we'll remember for a long time...good stuff.
