we had a nice day here 61 some sunshine with a little wind startin to dry things out a bit but think they are calling for some rain & snow then turning cold at the end of the week

Mornin don't believe it got as cold as they were callin for,but theres still time,& yes that breeze made it a bit nippy yesterday.

another cold day,but you just wait its going to get colder..me and the girl went over to Windsor and picked up some meat..bacon pork chops tonight....

been a nice day here but they say gonna go to crap callin for 1-3 inches of snow for early hrs in the moronin then a bit of rain in the 40s tommoro

We should get a bigger tractor, but Chuck says we wouldn't need one, if I got rid of the horses.
26° here tonight. It was in the low 30s today.

Mornin 24 & not a bad start had to run down to St Louis area yesterday freezin rain spit snow,the state did salt good,had a road to the river barges that made airtight seem like a joy to travel I believe spook road in its crummest was better.

you must have been on a goat path for a road.

The goat path would of been smoother,boss estimated around 1,000 trucks a day run it grain,dirt,concrete,& rock trucks & probably over half are overweight,which I couldn't believe that would happen 😉 I'll bet ole HB ran legal all the time.

Today my girlfriend was taking her truck to get inspected and got pulled over for not having it inspected. She got a warning. When I told Chuck, he said he got fined for an expired inspection and it had just run out the day before. I asked him if he cried and got that's a dumb ? look. I reminded him of the time, I got pulled over for not wearing my seat belt. I didn't have an inspection sticker because the windshield had been replaced. He told me a couple of times to stop somewhere to get a new sticker, but I had been working late and nothing was open when I got off be work. So when I got pulled over, I thought for sure it was for not having a sticker so while talking to the officer, my voice cracked a couple of times because I knew Chuck was not going to be happy about it and I didn't like working over to pay fines. But he told me to buckle up and have a good day. I only went about a mile and he pulled me over again! I thought for sure a fine was coming and by the time he got to my window, I had lost it. The first time he pulled me off, I told him I thought I was going to be late for a Drs appt (first time to see him and didn't know exactly where his office was) so he stopped me the 2nd time to tell me to follow him, he knew be where the dr's office was. So not only didn't I get a fine, but I got a police be escort. My friend told me she started crying, too. So maybe if you get pulled over for being over weight, you should start crying.

Ha ha Miss Ridge nice try but on the D.O.T. not much of anything works on them,their out mostly for the revenue. Got a fair 34 so far,we got a club hunt tonight so I'm gonna go check it out & maybe go on down to Greenup to the hootenanny.

I here ya,just like an over loaded tanker I'd of drained some off but somebody stole my psiphon straw. Weather callin now here only 1 ta 3 inches.

went to the barn to feed a tree uprooted fell on my fence took a cherry limb out with it had to cut it up put my fence back up 40 here guess it's the calm before the storm thier still bouncein aroud for tommoro had it 3-5 for tommoro now it's 1-3 who knows hope they miss it bad we don't get much or nothing would be better

moronin folk's 31 here at the moment had a bit of snow move in hasn't even stuck to the ground but they are still calling for 3-5 today less than a inch tonite but calling for 35 for the high so who knows what we are going to get

31 here really pokein the snow down roads are starting to cover now guess me & my helper going out at 6;30 probly have to keep going back to places till early moronin way it's snowin

Hello gang,one readin is +2 another +6 don't really make a whole lot of difference at this point,do know the snow ain't gonna last long by the weekend plus 50's ..... that's more better than good in my book.

Yep & the open prairie & wind sure don't make it any better,but on the plus side the suns shinnin..... & it's warm in the cab. 😉

its cold and I may complain,but its nothing compared to the storms that went through Alabama yesterday..them poor folks took it on the chin.....

26 here got close to 4 in of the white stuff went out at 6;30 yesterday evenin got home at 3 am this moronin boss call wants me and another guy go fill freakin pot holes with 4 in of snow on the ground think he is losein it told the wife im about to go back to my snowbuddy he does stupid stuff but the work not as hard
