I evaluated Diamond on the night that he did not "pass" the test.

He did a good job on a series of den trees. The weather was nasty, the dog just did not get under a coon that we could see.....

Nice dog....

tree grippin joe

i've got a nt. ch. pr. tree grippin dan dna- vip , off of joe and powder (joe newlin's) gyp . this was a great cross. my hound is as straight as an arrow , loud bawl on track, steady chop on tree . a four year old could handle this dog . i've made all the calls and this is the kind of reports that you get on joe from everyone you talk to.

Robert,

Glad to hear some good reports on Dan. I gave up on him a little too early.

Dan is a littermate to the Baily Jo dog that Ronnie has at his house, and the mother of the pups that are pictured on this page....

That was a good cross....Powder is a real reproducer....

I was hunting another littermate to these two in a hunt North of here....he went missing in the hunt, and we never found him. He was probably the nicest of the three dogs that lived out of that litter....

I talk to Ron saterday he told me he finished his 2 year old into NTCH I believe you could breed joe to a poodle and get a coon dog the most consistant reproducing walker dog on different females out there I think she made ntch in either 4 or 5 hunts Ihave a brother to her that is a nice dog GO JOE

pup out of joe

I have a female out of Joe. The dame is PR BUTLER CREEK JILL. Her name is PR J&Js OUT ALLNITE NIKKI. SHEs to independent and she rarely backs another dog. She will push em out of the marsh or run them through a corn feild and stay treed until I get there. I will not give her up for anything! Another outstanding hound out of Joe is PR SMITHS GRNITE JACK OF DIAMONDS HTX. Diamond is a all weather dog, he has the brain to go with the nose. I would like to say THANKS to Olie Smith and Ron Manns
