In my Illinois Outdoor News an article said the Illinois Fur Harvest Survey stated their expectin' higher prices but never stated a price,except 'yotes & that was last years price of average of $17.60 per hide.

I haven't heard a thing about prices yet.

back in the 70s and 80s if you had a good dog hides brought good money you could buy quite a bit of dog food i had a 2yr old timberchopper bred red dog i put 64 hides on the strechers a large hide was brining 32 dollars but now that im old my buddy and i just give them to his nephew

Yeah Hillbilly back then our hides averaged $25.00 the most I got for large ones was $40.00 & that was in the grease,I hope they don't get too high,last time they did the coon population suffered greatly,along with huntin' privileges,with the hides that high it brought out every Tom,Dick & Harry & they never cared how they got 'em.

Yep dry is the word for it Mike,makes ya wonder how they can even smell a scent,your buddy had the right idea Chuck,my brother in law before he was were out huntin' one night & down the road came a spotlighter,we had 2 with the dogs & he had 4,just braggin' on his prize,we let him know we never approved of his method.

Hunt report this mornin' Mike....& make it accurate (in case any N'wind's are watchin')

This old boy is moving slow the last few days ,,Back is really acting up .

Deacon won another hunt last night. He came in with 375+ points. Now we have 2 hunts this weekend. Friday and Saturday. We need one more win and he will be a Grand Nite Champion. Hope he wins Friday night.
