If you guys think you know some deep dark secret your wrong. It went on a lot back in the day. As I said before a lot of the dogs that were supposed to be out of crowding billy and diamond Jim where not out of them. They were out of sons of them. The man himself told me that. In the 70's and 80's there was more dog trading and paper trading then we will ever know. There was enough of it right around my area to mess up the genealogy of 1/4 of the coon dog world.

Well I don't know about any of y'all but my experience has shown me that anything I had that suited me took allot of time and work.. They don't get made with your rear parked on the tailgate sipping coffee and devouring chocolate chip cookies. Or as some do it sleeping in the cab of their pickup truck. About 95% of the people that I know that hated Lipper dogs were fellas that had a huge void in the ambition Department , and were afraid of the dark.... I'm probably going to piss a bunch of people off over this but I really don't care. Lipper dogs for dang sure were a lot of work and there were a bunch of garbage , heck there was 5000 of them there's bound to be some junk, but there was some darn good hounds that were freaks of nature that were out of lipper and those are the ones that got me to believe in the lipper and his offspring had the ingredients to produce the type of dogs that I enjoy. It's kind of funny that some people want to look back and discredit something that is already went down in history it's over it's done with, and if some of us are able to, and have the means to reconnect with some of that blood what's the problem? why is it such a big deal , and why does it piss you off so bad? It's going to be ok... the Sun is going to rise tomorrow in the east. It's going to be ok. Everybody has the right to enjoy what we want and if you don't like it you don't have to.... you can go in the direction that you're going.... nobody's grabbing you on the street and pointing you in a different direction and making you go somewhere that you don't want to go.... you don't have to... it's your choice. But I know everybody has an opinion, and I mean everybody.. and we also have the right to form and express them.

Not everyone likes the same things.
Not everyone trains the same or hunts 6 nights a week.
But everyone is entitled to what they like and shouldn't need to have all the experts on the UKC board tell them how wrong they are.
Comp hounds aren't what everyone is looking for. Good solid trustworthy hounds are what the average person wants, or I would hope.
If your willing to put the time and effort into a pup to make him what you prefer then that is all that should matter.
I'm very proud of our Rowdy/Hope pups. All 12 are showing so much promise, drive and good sense.

One thing is for sure, Ol'Lipper can sure stur things up, back then and even today!
Joe might of culled Lipper, but he sure was proud of Lipper's son Lawyer, he would ride him around in his pick-up truck,he must of liked something about them hounds!

Brandon no disrespect you need to read the book before you go tellen the story there are two titled dogs out of rattler seman up there now that's 1 more than the impact litter had and they are hunting the others. And they are a hell of a lot younger than the impact litter.

Litter of Impact

I usually stay out of this kind of argument, but this one seems to come up once a month. The reason the majority of the dogs out of the litter of impact are not titled is simple. The people that own them do not competition hunt. Plain and simple. It has nothing to do with the ability of the dogs. Their owners are pleasure hunters. Only a couple were even competition hunted. One is titled and won i believe the North Dakota state hunt( may be wrong on the state). Impact has money won in $KC and was not campaigned very hard to my understanding. The Rooster male i am not sure about weather he was comp hunted or not, but the people that have hunted with him say he is all coondog. Lucille is owned by Mr Camp and Impact is owned by Shannon Biggs. You will not find anybody that has hunted with either one of them that do not speak highly of them and their ability treeing coons. Mr Camp and Shannon both think a lot of their dogs and both are stand up, honest men that i have a lot of respect for. Only one of the litter went straight to the stud pen and is seems like the entire litter gets grouped into that category. I think there was so much hype about this litter that everyone of them could have won the world and it would not have been enough to satisfy some. The people that own them just enjoy coon hunting for pleasure. That does not automatically mean that these dogs are not capable of winning. This was not meant to rub anybody the wrong way, it is just my opinion and observation.

Oh it's easy to understand why some many people like to joke about that litter. It was hype hype hype for dang near a year. Tom basically told everyone that the walker dogs as a breed had been ruined and he was going to fix it with this cross. So what would anyone expect? Tom was used to advertising in stud adds where you could say anything you wanted. It was a mistake to do that on the internet. Did the cross make an impact on anything? Yep sure did I have one out of Jay's gyp that is turning out to be one of the best I have ever walked behind. So it had an impact on me.

Sorry its all been taken sold out in 5 min at 10k a straw I got 1 straw left and I'm gona mix it with my ytr semen may even throw some spring creek rock in the tube, stir it gently so not to ness the genetics up and breed a dog of the highest caliber, pups will be a impact on your pocket book for sure .
