Yep I wanted to finish up mowin yesterday but rain kept me from it,but it's supposed to be cool all week so I'll hit er all then,it'll all need it before weekend.

Only found 4 mushrooms today, I told Chuck to stop at the Tastee Freeze on the way home and I'd get a sundae and he could have the mushrooms.
Going fishing tomorrow, we took the boat to the local lake last WK for a test run because we haven't had it in the water since 2017, it ran good. Hope all goes well tomorrow.
No rain in the forecast for a week. Yay!!

Big I almost thought about a light jacket hunting last night! Man it was cool when I started out but thankfully it didn't take long before I was trucking through to catch up with my dog. Ride home was worse cause I was soaked with sweat which did make it chilly out. North wind was blowing yesterday and continuing today. Ill take it!

Mornin kids a nice 58 so far.

First cast, I got snagged up on some wires in the boat 🙄. Had quite a few wild casts, but I caught a perch and a couple of blue gill. We only brought 11 fish home. It was such a beautiful day, I wish I would have went riding instead, but I hate not using the boat and Chuck won't go by himself.
Today was a nice day, too; so I went riding with a couple of friends. We rode 13 miles. I forgot to take my phone, so didn't get any pictures of the cricks, rocks or woods OR the first rattlesnake of the year. We didn't bother it and it didn't bother us. But I was first rider and screamed loud enough to scare the horses😃.

We have Rattlesnakes and copperheads near here. They use to have rattlesnake hunts here, but quit. There still are a few places that have them. They're protected, you have to have a permit, if you want to hunt them and can only get one.

61 this morning guess the heat is back suppose to get in the high 80s close to 90 a few days

61 & a dandy start,them snake hunts they used to have in Alabama called ' em snake fries but the goodie two shoes put a stop to it also,think if I remember right have to be so big & a limit now.

pretty nice morning so far,going to warm up this weekend..

dang it was a hot humid day here paint my barn roof took me 4 hrs non stop i was burn up by time i got to the house took a shower ate supper start mowin my grass finish it up at 9;30 1st time ive cut grass with head lights on the mower stil have to wed eat tommoro if i don't go to maryland to help my buddy get a load of hay

moronin another hot day in store for us here 89 already 72 may do my weed eatin while im waiting to see if my buddy going to get hay later

Supposed to be the warmest day today with a cool off and some rain coming tomorrow. Helped my neighbor put up square bales of his third cutting off of his alfalfa field yesterday. Haven't been hunting since monday night, my hunting truck died on me tuesday. 246,000 miles & 13 years old. First truck I ever bought brand new.

well iam batching it this week the loving woman and her brother and mom went to north Carolina,to see the other brother,sure aint much going good for him,the doctors are giving him anywhere from 9 months to two years life expectancy....

thanks HB,it sure is taking a toll on my old woman,last night she went to Walmart to get me some groceries,she left half of them at the check out and had to go back and get them,then she got home and put the can goods in the fridge,this morning before she took off she was standing 6 inches from a case of bottled water and couldnt see them ,I had to load the cooler for her..
