I think Brandy got the 2nd one by herself. lol If I keep huntn with those sorry blueticks as you call em, I might have to add one to my arsenal. Ill give you a shout tommorow about huntn. Ol Brandy has to be one of the most fun dogs to hunt with. If you don't have to carry a leadstrap you cant lose it huh. Talk to ya later. JEff

Well Hopefully the Deisel is fueled for Saturday night. 3 dens and 2 coons, not to bad. Saw more possums and deer than anything. He acted normal. We will have to see how it goes. I might hunt tommorow night, but will give him some rest on Friday. Talk to ya later. Jeff

That's good Jeff. Did ya hunt the white monster? I'm kinda glad I didn't go last night. I finally got my paper done for a class I'm taking. It's due next week and I've had it sense aug. to get it done.

Jiggs and Shaker put 5 coon up tonite. First one they got deep and hit one on the run. Had it up within 5 minutes, took us 15 min. to get to them. Next they split with Jiggs having 1 in a small tree and Shaker treed 10 yards away with 3 in it. The one Jiggs had fell out of the tree and got eaten up.

Gonna go to Bussey tomorrow to try and get another Ch. win on Shaker, then heading up to Thayer to drop some stuff off for a Brittany trial. Gonna do a little coonin' up there then stay Sunday to watch my Brittany run in the trial.

Hopefully Jiggs does as well next weekend as he has the last few times he's been out. Guess we'll see.

Show went good, Shaker got another win. By the time we got to Thayer it was pretty late and since I've only been there one other time I decided not to go. Bob said when they were mowing with the tractor the other day the creek was full of tracks, thinkin about going out there during hide season and camping and hunting some weekend. Figured might help the bird population if some coon were eliminated.

Shaker was a little out of place there with all the Brittany dogs. Told them I was gonna breed a little tree in them dogs.

Gonna get Jiggs out a few more times this week to tune him up for next weekend. Looked good the other nite.

Cory thanks, That really is one impressive Blue dog. Looks like a long eared Bluetick Rottweiler. He is a powerful lookin dog.

Yeah, Bryan, same guy. I didn't hear him complaining but my wife said she thought she heard him saying something. Can't say for sure.

Guess we'll see soon enough how Jiggs will do. I believe hide season will do him alot of good, gonna put him in alot of coon down where we hunt in Missouri.

Missouri's hunting license price? Do you know what it is? Im pretty sure we can hunt there cheaper then them coming to Iowa.

I think in Mo. you need a small game liscens. It used to be $5 a day, but the last time I checked it went up to $10 or $15 a day

There is a hunt at Winterset this weekend I'm planning on taking Misty, she has been looking pretty good lately. If Winterset goes good may try to go to Bussey the next weekend.

Dutch is doing good. I hunted him a week ago and sob went deep and swam the river and treed on the other side. He's never crossed a river before. I guess it was payback.

We gotta get our shots in while we can. It doesn't happen very often. what's the buzz around the badgers up there. 0-4 in big ten with 18 returning starters, not good. I've been checking brandy every day. She should be coming in soon.

Got the cast win worth 2nd place with Misty Sat. night. The score wasn't real good ( walker talked her into a slick ) but she spent the rest of the night splitting from the rest. Treed the only coon we could find alone.
Not sure about Bussey yet, got family stuff.
