Nice cool morning here 53 degrees calling for 81

We had rain it looks like most all night but I didn't know till this mornin,it's 70 now,stay there at the foot of the cross it'll get better,always does,man these idiot's suein the pharmaceutical company's for opioid damage like who's fault was it for passin them out? Makes as much since as suein auto makers for drunk drivers.

Plenty cool the last rain we had I got 1&4/10.

It rained yesterday so we went to the casino. Didn't have any big hits, but we came home $170 ahead.
Sunday and Monday, we made hay, got 425 bales of 2nd crop.
Rode over 11 miles today, giving Dolly tomorrow off and then planning on riding Friday and Saturday.

**** nice hunt last night although the coons were not out in force. Could see your breathe in the cooler air and heavy dew on everything. It is August right?? Headed to the Oaks this weekend to see what all the fuss is about.

A nice 69 degrees this mornin,yes that crow's foot is almost like cuttin brush,you'll find out what kind of a mower you got that's for sure,I ain't been to the Oaks since the 50th yr reunion lots of hounds to check out....have fun Nate. Everybody that's ever coon hunted should go to Autumn Oaks at least once in their lifetime,one of these days I hope to make it to the Farm Progress Show missed this yr.

our ol buddy ho dog is in OK. with McVickers and his two boys on a hog hunt this weekend,ho dog missed two 25 yard shots this morning ,mikes oldest boy killed one....

I guess Asa was the one that killed,Ho dog sent me a pic. at 11:30 last night ,he killed a 197 pounder,they went there cause mike and the boys had been going down there for a couple three years,they new the lay of the land down there.......just got off the phone with the dog for a update...think there are 5 guys in dogs bunch .they have all killed one except for mike and he had a couple shots but aint connected yet..guess their permits allow for 2 flat noses ..so they working on their second one.....

That's the way I'd hunt 'em that's just me.

back in the early 80's I went to ARK. to hunt them hogs,i used the bow, killed my the second morning,had one guy from Tenn. that hadn't killed,it was a guaranteed kill hunt,the last day the outfitter said we are taking the dogs and get this guy his kill,and did,,if I knew that was a option ,I would have went that route ,whole lot more excitement .......

Pretty neat up there at the oaks. Didn't stay too long cause I couldn't afford to! Came home with a pair of boots and chaps, 2 new leads and a new collar. Said hello to a couple of friends and shagged a$$ back home. Pretty good haul for one day. Got mad a half an hour away from the house and had a rock get thrown up and cracked my windshield on my new truck! SOB
