Murmuring or Grateful ?

Hello all ! Its a great day. Fall is just days away. It sounds like the end of the week we will have to get out the sweaters.That is fine and well with me . Hunting seasons are comeing in and it will be enjoyable out there seeing all of GODS creations . Lets get to the message for today. Murmuring or Grateful?
“Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.”_- Philippians 2:14-15
Do you know the problem with many of us when we obey God? We murmur about it while we are doing it! And God is taking notes, because halfhearted obedience isn’t obedience at all. Remember, God is looking at the heart, not the deed (see 1 Samuel 16:7).
Do you know why we murmur? Because we’ve taken our eyes off Calvary. Jesus didn’t murmur on the way to the cross. Oh no. Do you thank God for the pains in life? Or only the gains?

Making First Things First

Good Friday Mornin .Hope Ya Had a good week .Its cooling off. I'm glad. Lets get to todays message.Making the First Thing the First Thing

I believe in church attendance, but if your relationship with the Lord and with others is suffering, then you need to stay at home and get on your face before God.
Sometimes a businessman will get very prosperous in his business—and at first it seems a good thing. He tells his wife, “Honey, you know how I couldn’t give you much when we got married? Well, now I can.” But soon the pursuit of a nice home and nice things consume him. A sadness descends upon his wife and children, and they lament, “Oh, Daddy….Oh, Husband…what we would give to just have you spend time with us.”
What tragedy it would be if what you do for Jesus keeps you from Jesus. Stop the cycle today. If you know you’re a workaholic, stop it. If you know your walk is far from God, get it right. Let Patience Do Its Perfect Work

Good Mornin ! We got some much needed rain,, Winter is just across the river. now to todays message Let Patience Do Its Perfect Work
“But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” - James 1:4
The trying of your faith is going to develop patience in you. And the Amplified Bible says, “Let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed in your faith, lacking in nothing.” When was the last time you asked God to make you perfect? Maybe you should have asked for patience as well, because it is only through patient, abiding faith and trust in the Lord that we become “perfect.”
Now, a lot of people confuse this word “perfect” with “sinless.” The Greek word for perfect in James 1:4 is teleios—it refers to a maturing growth. For example, an oak tree is the teleios of an acorn. It is the “perfection” of an acorn, which has now come to maturity.
So when you are discouraged and feeling a little blue,
Take a look at a mighty oak and see what a nut can do.__

Thankful In Trials

Hello All , I hope all is going good for you. Its cool enough here in the bottoms a light jacket is what ya need to start the day. Lets get to the message for the day,Im thankful everyday that I can get out of bed and take my next breath. Thankful in Trials
“Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon His name, make known His deeds among the people.” 1 Chronicles 16:8
If you are a child of God, you ought to be able to thank God every moment of every day no matter what happens to you.
Have you ever stopped to thank God for the water that you drink? Did you know that in some countries in the world, the majority of the population doesn’t have reasonably pure drinking water? Millions of people die annually just from water-related diseases.
If you wear a hearing aid, do you ever thank God for that? Some people wish they had a hearing aide.
If you are a student in the midst of final exams, do you thank God that you have an exam to take? There are many who wish they could afford college.
Do you thank God for your next breath?
Take whatever it is that looks like a trial in your life today and thank God for it! Thank Him every time the thought enters your mind to grumble or complain.
