A nice 52 degrees here,ain't heard no shootin today or early this mornin.

was suppose to get in the 50s here but didn't happen 44 was the high boy @ granson ready for the big 1st day of deer season tommoro

Good mornin everybody it's 38 & supposed to get in the mid to upper 50's today it'll be fine with me,HB the best part of somebody else huntin them deer is you don't have to process it.

It hasn't been a good weekend. Chuck's mom finally passed early Friday am. Jasmine colicked yesterday am. I had the vet out for her, but she's not doing well.

Sorry to hear the news Miss Ridge but that's something we must all face at one point.

Plenty windy here this mornin,warm at the moment but with the wind whistlin like it is the temperature will drop,a guy would burn up a box of matches tryin to light a smoke today the way its blowin.

Here's how windy it is on the prairie at the elevator in Fairgrange I went to spring a leak the water in the yernal is bobbin up & down so much I bout got sea sick before I was done.....man over board.

Oh I'll bet every bit of 50 mph they say we could have 50 plus I think its averagein 25 to 35 here now. At least it ain't snowin or what a mess we'd have.

yea they say the wind is gonna be bad for sure thought i might get to deer hunt some but doc shut me down said i can't shoot nothing with any recoil at all for 1 yr

I seen where Henry firearms is makin a Trump 22 rifle limited edition.

lot better day today than wensday that hard wind blowed a tree down took out big area without power plus fell on a guy's car totaled it was without power from wensday evenin till yesterday at noon time

Yep we never really give the electricity much thought until its out or when we pay the bill,that's why I got things redone for a generator but not till next year ran out of time & cash flow,but it'll happen soon enough got 39 & light drizzle looks like it rained most all night,better than what it could of been.

really my electric bill isn't bad we suppose to get rain move in this evenin boy @ granson not seein very few deer think that deiase have them about killed out here

I had the vet out Monday because Jas was no better after his ER Sunday visit. Now he's treating her for Lyme's and she is improving.
I gave my mom a 6 month old kitten on Wed. She's been wanting a puppy, but we thought house training a puppy would be too much for her. She called me early on Thanksgiving and said it was lost...in her house! We laughed and told her it wasn't. A couple of hours later, I called to see if she found it. She hadn't, so we went down to help her look for it. After an hour or so of looking for it, I told her to get ready we were going to the casino and if the cat wasn't outside (which she was positive it wasn't) we'd find him when we got home.
I lost $20 and Chuck broke even at the casino. We were sure the cat would be happy to see us when we got home, but no sign of it anywhere. Before we left, I had Chuck run over to the neighbors to see if they had found it. They hadn't. But the next morning, mom called to tell me her neighbor found it at 5:30 am. And now it was meowing so I needed to come get it. We went back down, but I told her I had to go shopping, I would get him next week. Hope she decides to keep it. I think it will be good company for her this winter since she doesn't like to drive much anymore.
My aunt got home from PGH yesterday. She was life flighted because she was in a wreck and was knocked unconscious Tuesday afternoon. No concussion, but lots of bruising and swelling and she broke her knee cap.
It's been a rough few days.

hope everything get's better for you ridge been rainin here sense yedterday evenin then suppose to change to rain @ snoe tonight but temp is suppose to stay above freezeing

Always something it seems things get ta lookin good then poof ..... seen an eagle eatin on a dead coon not far from the house.

we might end up with a inch of snow thier sayin but temp is going to stay in the mid to high 30s probably not gonna amount to much i hope have to go see the heart doc take a stress test tommoro boy was over in maryland today said had a 25 car pile up said it was so foggy you couldn'tsee nothing glad they got home safe

Cold north wind & 32 this mornin,no snow on the ground so far.👍
