Those look awfully good Rex, Miss your dad he was a good man. Andrew and I often talk about picking berries and running beagles with him. Andy was quite fond of him. Andy was a little guy back then.

Hillbilly I totally understand nobody likes being cussed, a 2 x 4 across his head sounds like what he needed.

never did try to put some away in the freezer but id say they would be all mushy when they thaw out not be anygood

I have one bag left in the freezer...I 3/4 fry mine then let them cool.put them in bags and freeze them..you cook them bout ten min.'s and they are done ,nice and crispy...

just got off the phone with uncle daryl..he said geno called him this morning and said his old duck dog died..i hunt with duck and daryl one winter and duck was a darn good hound he would tree a lot of coons....Jeff,I know dad thought the world of you and andy and the times you guys and coy would run dogs...

Duck

Duck was a fine dog and I am sure Gene and boys will miss him. It was a shame never had pups out of him.

Most people that hunted with them Liked Duck better also. Remember Doc's other brother that Gut had for awhile....

Never understood why Darryl didn't breed him either. Lot of good dogs came out of that breeding. If i was young and tough would love to have Jo Jo. Darryl has had many good dogs.

looks like gonna have to take th wifes shitzu to the vet tommoro brought her home from the vet he cut all the hair off the inside of her back legs she been diggin at them i been puttin vetericyn on her she was gettin better now she startin on a frt leg im begaining to think she got yeast infection comeing out her skin never seen this before her ears ain't dirty i clen them 2 times a month any y'all ever hear of a yeast infection comeing out through the skin she get bath 3 times a month don't make sense to me

18 degrees here now. We are going ahead with our UKC Hunt tomorrow night. I hope no one gets hurt or get their dog hurt. Got 2 guys bringing
over 150 coons tomorrow to me to buy. Like to buy some coyotes and foxes and otters and mink.

Gotta lot of good memories with Ol slamhound babe too me and DARNELL used to battle it out with her and Ol coma had a lot of fun, and we never razed each other either........ Hillbilly you sure your checkin' the correct end on that dog? That yeast infection is at the other end Big Moe named Duck right,that hound loved water,told Moe not to get him too close to the English channel,he'd cross it without thinkin' twice,ole Duck was a very mellow dog too,never seen him fuss or fight another dog. Hey Mike did you fellers have a white out like they did in Washington county?
