Rhonda is turning into quite a treehugger....
How would you like to be out coonhunting and walk in to your dogs after a nice race and see this lil boy hanging on the side of the tree?
Getting into bear hunting I see
That was from Jason's son. He is a big time bear hunter.
Look who followed me home from Indiana, L's Bells...
A true Va Cartel hounddawg, born, bred, trained and titled. I just love it when a plan comes together. Every member of the Cartel had a hand in this. It is a shame that Buck isn't around to see the fruition of his labor.

Well just when Winnie starts getting back to normal she comes into heat but at least she's having a normal cycle now
Since Belle's mother and Winnie are littermates, I wonder what Winnie's pups would be like?
We may find out next year Richard. I should be ready for another pup by then.
Belle last night....She will tree by herself or with another dog. Isn't that what everyone wants?
Richard
Back in the day did you have to break your dogs off of these ?

I was busy last night. Blake, Winnie's pups should look just like this.
Postimg quit working this morning.
The pic isn't working but I'm pretty sure I know how they will look.
Blake, thanks for helping to get Hannah started. She got a First Place win last night. It takes a team.
Congrats on the win with Hannah, maybe I need to send Winnie up there and let you put a win on her since her handler cant seem to get it done
Blake, it will be much more satisfying when you get it done yourself. You and Winnie are a good team.
Looked like someone was having a good time last night.
Lotsa fun up here, driving Jared's Jeep to the trees. That video looked like It might have been a little wet in Ga last night. I bet that you didn't drive a 4 wheeler in to that tree....
Nope we had to do some walking last night. I need to figure out a way to be able to take my buggy on the wma's around here.
Oh my goodness Blake, you did it all yourself. Now how satisfying is that. Mike Mayo started Winnie but you trained her, worked her through her health problems.and then finished her to a Nt Ch with no help. She will be the first of many for you. I bet that your Pop is sure proud of you and Winnie this morning. And how appropriate, you will have something to be thankfull for when you sit down to eat this Thursday.
Yes he was, I think he was happier than me. She looked good considering she came out of heat last week. She had a first and second on a den tree then a second and a first on a coon. Then we cut loose after the hunt was over on the way back to the truck and they treed another one about 75yds.
Today is the big day. I have gotten up early and am ready to go. I penned a turkey up a couple of weeks ago and have been fattening her up. I will have to build a fire and get some water boiling in a big black iron kettle just like my dad did and my granny did. Then I will have to sharpen my axe. That poor Turkey doesn't know what is coming. I will do my job today and my wife will do hers tomorrow. This holiday always brings back memories of big family gatherings around a huge dinner table at the old homestead which was way out in the country at the end of a long dirt road. All of the males would get up early and rabbit hunt until noon. My dad had 3 brothers who would all bring their family's home for this holiday. So there was no shortage of Uncles and cousins. Then we would come in and eat until we were stuffed. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
Whew what a night here in the mountains get
