40 here this moronin had a couple rain showers over night
We had a snow rain mix this Am then it switched over to all rain. Clearing up now. We went to Kittanning today for a wheel cover for my BP horse trailer, I lost mine over the wkend or Monday. I use to always walk around my trailer before I left anywhere to make sure I had everything put away. I need to start doing that again.
When I try potatoes, I've been using bear grease. We don't notice much difference in taste, maybe because I put onion and garlic with them
sounds good on the taters ridge we had sme real light pop up showers here today heard we lost a horse puller to the corona virus vic bonacassio from rochestermills pa

HB, I didn't know Vic, but we went to some dog competitions at Rochester Mills. Sorry for your loss. I keep track of 8 counties:. 6 of them are neighboring counties or where friends live, one is where my son lives and the other is Erie where the casino is. Four of them had increases in cases today by and 2 had deaths. My son's county's cases went from 60 to 109!
Cotton, my husband shot the bear. We rendered 11 lbs of fat. Most of it I mixed with beeswax and gave it to friends to use on their tack and boots. But I read it was good for frying and baking. My sister made a raspberry pie, the crust was made with bear grease. The few, I shared it with, thought it was good.
Windy and cool here today, it was supposed to rain, but didn't.
Got my GN plugged in down at the barn, I need to get busy getting it ready to go camping. HH trip might still be on! 😆
Hope you get to make HH and I bet that was good stuff to waterproof and keep your tack soft...stay safe!
