Tim
Looks like the weather may follow you down to Al. It's turning for the better here.
Took Robin for a short one last night. She struck in about 330 yrds. and ran a good track along a big creek. She got in 700 yrds and located several times and finally turned it over to a hard chop before I went to her. She had a big den tree but the coon was on the outside! By herself she was a little unsure of herself when it came to slammin a tree like she does with Smoke. If Timmy and I can keep her in the woods every night she will make it.

Barry,
I guess that they had about 1 inch of rain just before I got here and everything looks wet. If there is to much water I can always go back to the truck.................Tim
Tim
Looks like you had a safe trip down there. Best of luck this weekend and don't forget the rubber ducky just in case!

Suppose to be 69 down here today. Did not hunt in the Slam last night. Thought 3 nights of hard hunting would do me in.
There are some blues down here, seen Airplane and Jet 9. Talked to Ed Mead and Terry Tucker, Lance and Dana Byrd, and Brian and Penny Hutchison, and Mike Hayworth. Should be more bluetickers in today.
Jay got your female picked up...............Tim
Good Luck Tim, Give Em' Hell for all of us!!!

Had a good time last night, didn't win but they definately knew Ranger was there. Had his chance but couldn't find his coon, treed up the only tree in the swamp that was covered in leaves. Just got outcalled on the last tree. He looked good all he needed was a better handler..........Tim
Too late to get Paul down there so you will just have to get it done. lol
I have no doubt that Ranger can get it done. From what I have heard he is all COONDAWG. Tim with all the years behind these great Blues, we all know you are very capable of handling. Best of luck, but most of all have fun.

Just a quick up date Mr. Tim The ole female is acting better, took her and the male pup out tonite she covered the area i took them too, but did hunt shallow, nothing stirring... Moved to another spot... She took off come back made a circle left again and opened a hundred yards or so and moved it pretty nice with bawl mouth but not real loud.. Moved little further Cadence jumped in with her, moved on lil more both hushed for a few seconds then opened a couple more times then they blew up on the tree. Im not sure which one got it first..Nice big cedar tree den and couldnt get anything in sight....I'm not gonna say much but If can get some fur in that pups mouth somebody might want to watch out...You know he hasn't had any help..We talked about that...I'm gonna hush cause I probably already jinxed myself.. Cheyenne,
Get a picture of that pup on the wood and put it on the thread. Sounds like he is going in the right direction, keep him in the woods.
