funny how it is so dry here now. heard shelbyville was pretty high. hopefully feed the river for a while down here. hadn't had the time to do any fishing. heard its been rough this week

She'll come back all tanned up & ole Hillbilly won't recognize her. Got 68 for a start,yep ole Kirk knows how to catch & fry fish he's quite the chef boy ar dee. Ain't much he can't cook reminds me of Pete....he really enjoyed cookin,he was quite the chuckwagon guy.

there sure was nothing wrong with Pete's cooking,good cook,its a hot one today,Nathan Shelby's high but they aint releasing any water,8 foot below bank full below the dam...

It hit the big 90 here yesterday. Its 69 at the moment & gettin sticky.

Got 90 again & spittin shower earlier west of us is gettin it down to 75 fair.

got up to 86 here today had to work then go to furneral home mowed grass tommoro gonna saddle up and go ridein with the boy and his wife not sure anybody else gone or not

86 here feels like 91 i rode 3 hrs then i cut across the hill came home i was gettin pretty warm my mare was ringin wet i hosed her down when i got back the other went around the long way they ain't back yet

It finally rained here, we got just over a half inch if rain. We need it, our yard has big brown spots in it from the grass dying and the hay isn't growing at all.
I've been riding almost every day. A woman fell off her horse when it spooked at some cows near my sister-in-law's a couple of weeks ago. They had to life flight her to PGH. Broke her skull and had over 200 stitches in her head. She wasn't wearing a helmet. The local tack store owner said she sold out of helmets after that happened. I've been wearing one when I ride for years, most of my friends do now, too. Last yr, a woman fell off when she was riding with us. I think there where 6 in the group. I was to he only one wearing a helmet. Today, 4 of us from the same group went out. Only the woman that fell off and broke her ribs and wrist last yr, didn't wear a helmet. Some people never learn.

I had an inch & a half the ponds are almost full again,Miss Ridge sorry bout that gal,the other one who rides w/o a helmet well it is her choice but if it could be prevented I hear ya.

We got just over an inch of rain yesterday. Tomorrow we're supposed to get more.
Rex, congrats to your wife. We were at my mom's on Sunday and she fanned out (10) $100 bills that she won at the casino. It was her first trip to the casino since the Covid19 thing closed them.

Mornin all wow its movin right along June is almost gone & we got corn anywhere from 6" to almost over your head,a wild ride indeed.

think I may have to mow this afternoon..its looking pretty shaggy.

Howdy everybody,I did a bit of mowin myself the last 2 days,not all of it needed it so only the part that wants to over grow,71° & cool so far. Ole Kirk said yesterday he was takin a vacation day today & fishin.
