Got a heavy frost on the prairie this mornin no deer in sight.

Watching icicles melt off the roof of my tree stand...no deer.

moronin folk's 40 at the moment callin for 41 for a high seems like the deer population has went to pot i could see alot of deer about 3 yrs ago now only see a few all yr long think we had a deiase called black tongue killed a bunch of deer and the yotes killing a bunch of fawns no chance to recover any

A chilly 38 & cloudy,our deer did the same & are just now recoverin from it.

I ended up seeing 2 doe running towards posted property, then a wounded buck came by (he wasn't legal for me to shoot), then about 4:30, 11 doe came in. Chuck kept telling me to wait to see if a buck might be with them. Well, he wasn't and while I was waiting for them to spread out a little, something spooked them, and off they ran Tomorrow, I'll try again.

That's deer huntin for ya,last night ended our shotgun season & right at dark I seen quite the herd in an alfalfa field eatin as if to say to late for us.

Good mornin all,got 36 this mornin & a south breeze plus I seen the big buck everybody's been after & he's still around,probably got him a spot ta hide & waits till night to move.

the first 3 days were pretty ruff on her but she was the executor and all that comes with that..so she had a lot on her mind to keep her occupied....

Oh oh its on for her now buck fever good for her. Glad she's comin along time has a way with wounds only 34 but no wind so that helps. The tree rats are movin good so weather is probably goin to the crapper.

it was a dreay ole day hear rain @ snow mix all moronin callin for 3-5 in of snow wensdat unless they change it

22 this mornin but no wind so it felt warmer than yesterday but got a snow shower chance later today into tonight. But its supposed to get back up warmer in the week.

they can keep the snow....

28° here. I just got in from taking the dogs for a walk up to the mailbox.
Our county has 6 more Covid 19 cases today. We're up to 175, with 2 deaths. But we only have around 7,000 residents so our % is up. I went to Tionesta (our County Seat) Iast week...the bank was locked (it's appt only) and the Courthouse was closed for 2 weeks. Now the our wonderful Governor has shut down all dine in restaurants and bars for 3 weeks.

TD, just heard they busted stout again,15 charges of deer poaching...
