Hey guys I noticed the three legged dog you were talking about and it was probobly a dog owned by Robby Purlee who lived down by Mike. He was hit by a car i believe and had to have his leg amputated. That would have been back in the late 80s. I hunted a pup off of him he was off off Boone and a Dohoneys Banjo Female. Pup was Nt Ch Dohoneys High Plains Hawk i still got pics of him. try to copy them and post when i get time. he was a get gone 98% accurate treeee dog

i'm posting this for a buddy of mine. we live in Iowa. he's gotta hound that i believe is either boone's grandson or great grand son. 'pr' Stylish Pack. he is 6 years old now and is hoped to be finished to nite champ this year. he has had him for about 3 years now and he was his first dog he ever got. dont run any trash. strictly coon. very hard headed dog, from climbing trees, or goin in the ground, pack will get the coon! but is great to be around. very friendly dog. he is a pleasure to have and to hunt! lookin forward to many great years of hunting with pack!

yadkin river dogs have always been given credit for sackett jr. but i think he got his traits from his mother skeans dolly, off dohoneys boone and dohoneys spice.

As far as I know Mike hasn't used any himself. The last time I talked to him he said when he did use some of it he would have it implanted surgicaly. He said that's how they get the best results from it.

I couldn't imagine paying for semen and not doing the surgical ....

the Dr Law in Kansas that did the LIpper litter of impact is awful good .. he gets like a 98% success rate.

He cuts a little hole in the gyps side and goes in that way ... which is a newer/better method than even most surgical methods.

he went over to England or something like that and learned from the Greyhound guys over there and now he teaches vets over here to do it ...

He's got a fulltime clinic with a half dozen vets and that's the only thing they do ...
