Red is hunting as great as he ever has. He looks great with
company and without company; just need to get a little luck in the nite hunts. He is as nice of a reddog as you will find and he is the nicest hound I have had the priveledge of owning!!

I have a really nice young male out of him and Daisy for sale.

I will try to post a picture soon!

Thanks John

Thanks

Kyle, A couple more wins. Hoping to get it done by the end of Oct!!!

Posted by Borgstadt on 09-21-2012 01:25 PM:

Hopefully you and red can get it done. I hunted daisy last night she got about 6 tenths of a mile deep before she got treed, I couldn't see the coon but she looked pretty good.

Posted by timber hunter on 09-21-2012 10:46 PM:

Hey Kyle

Daisy is a great female, I know if she was tunned up a bit she could win any hunt. I only can hunt one at a time. Thanks for taking good care of her. John

Good luck in the comp hunts. Bring Ol Red on down to Va. and we will have a great pleasure hunt.

Red

He will make it to GRNTCH im sure of it. I have a very good idea what type hound you are pushing John. Im sure I see it every time I cut Reds brother,Deuce to the brush. I read on this site of how this breed needs drive and heart. I see drive and heart all through this breed. All those folks have to do is come and get some of it. Its here and if they can't fine it, they are blind.
Keep doing what you are doing and it will come. Good luck to you, and keep us posted.

Posted by timber hunter on 09-28-2012 10:54 PM:

Thanks Don

Red is a nice hound like Duece. They both should be bred and bred and bred some more. Unfortunately because there are so many people who brag up their mediocer dogs, people just don`t seem to believe you when you have a top one.

Red has all the characteristics that will help the breed.

A Loud Loud Mouth
Fast honest strike (First Strike)
Hard loud Tree Dog
First Tree Dog
First Strike Dog
Big Screaming Horn Bawl on track
All kinds of drive
Works well with other dogs
Is really competitive
Really nice dispostition with people and other dogs
Can train puppies with him
Good Looking.
95-98% accurate
Comes from a family of top reproducers
Hunts medium to deep
He produces big litters of pups ( 3 litters 12 puppies in 2, 11 in the other)

Here are the only faults Red has, occasionally he will tree a oppusum, he will not hunt in a lighting storm, if there is a real mean dog in the cast he will not tree with them, but will get deep and be treed by himself. He occasionaly likes to roll in dead animals.
