Awesome is going to be a real reproducer... I have a pup of Jason's here at my house... Showed him his first coon and he went nuts... Turned him loose an pup treed him just like that. Only 5 month old... Can't wait till this winter...

Awesome's oldest pups are treeing coon and starting to win in the hunts. Sorry we turned down breeding three or four females I will start back breeding Awesome in November.

Jason, quick question. How many W.C. hounds reproduced W.C. hound? Just trying to wrap my head around the English bloodlines. Did you raise Joe or Awesome? Did they start early? What age did you know you has something great with either dog? I've been kicking around what line to start with. We've got a solid male dog now, but he's not out of the flashy lines of today. Just looking to the future to breed or own better english hounds.

Awsome is from an earlly starting, coon treeing cross. Most of them like to get deep and lonely with a coon.

I did not raise Awesome but I have known about him since he was a year old he has always been accurate and a pressure tree dog. He goes hunting good too.

Thanks for the info. The male dog I'm looking to breed was also a early start, go deep coonhound. I've kicking around buying a pup from red cloud dog. Those pups go back to hardtime kim both sides. Which my male is only one side 3nd gen. back to kim. My background to hunting dogs are bird dogs. Which most all the dogs I own or have owned are from line breeding.

Jason, thanks for the insight. How do you go about finding a young started dog. If you were to breed awesome and keep the whole group for yourself. What female or line would you choose?

I have a pup out of Awesome and a Main street Roy/Royals Hardtime Ghost female that is not yet 4 months old... He is running and treeing 200-300 yds drag at night alone and has been running drags since 8 weeks old He is a pure natural... best acting pup i have seen bar none and has all kinds of sense with a horn for a mouth! I am excited about this one !
