was a sunny but cold day here went huntin this moronin with the boy and granson didn't see a deer but this dang cold or allergies started back up what ever it is nose runin like a sugar tree and snezzein my head off noy came down this evenin killed a decent 6pt on the hill behimd the house told him get up early drive a hr to get there then see no deer and we can see more deer here and only take about 10 mins depending on where you go seen on facebook a boy use to hunt with me killed a nice 8pt on the neighbor where i usally sit when i go up

36° but a bit on the breezy side. The manager of the elevator said 1 of his boys popped a 11 point buck & an 8 pointer knocked 'em both down blood trail the whole 9 yrds. & never got either one ....but found 2 gut piles figured the poachin neighbor found 'em both.

23 and frosty here wow that would tick me plum off id be lookin for signs where they were drug off see where they srug them out

Coon & deer are on the move tonight as windy as it is.

It was chilly here, but not cold enough to not ride until we were almost back and my feet were too cold.
Our deer season starts Saturday, buck and doe come in together. That's new here.

happy turkey day to all 44 here at the moment callin for 49 80 % chance of rain they have had 2 weeks of buck @ doe for quite a few yrs my huntin is shot for this yr with haveing dad here seems like his mind went overnight he has had me up all night the last couple nights

Sorry to hear that, HB. The same thing happened to my mom after she fell. They doctors decided she had water on the brain. They can operate and put a drain, but mom didn't want to do that. She's living in an assisted living facility now. At first she wasn't happy about it, but she's much better about being there now.
We celebrated Thanksgiving at the casino. Wasn't much of a celebration, them darn Indians scalped our wallets. Guess we'll never learn.

There's a nice big wide drop tines up my way but he stays hid till dark had 43° today not bad except for the wind had a bite to it.

seen the boy is getting into some snow he left for ny earlier try to tell him get off that run before winter guess he will figure it out maybe i go back to work tommoro been nice to have a week away from there

Chuck's dad went into the hospital on Thanksgiving. Earlier in the week, he was dx with skin cancer, he went to the hospital because he told Chuck's niece he thought he was dying. It was due to A fib. He got home yesterday.
Deer season started Saturday. I shot a doe at 8 am. We haven't seen any bucks. We have snow and the high Saturday was 33°, so nice having a tree stand with a propane stove in it. I stayed toastie 😉

A propane stove goodness that's huntin in style right there now.I had 26 this mornin & not much of a breeze.

Mornin everybody got no wind so it's bearable with a 31° readin supposed to get in the high 50's to 60° this week that'll help on the heat bill.
