i dont think they check the bigfoot site,,i've posted on it 2 times and never got any reply back..i think they are just into the realalty show stuff now where they can make money off it .

i dont think they really want to catch up with one of them things .

the last one we were near smelled like a texas lot lizard that hadn't had a shower in a few weeks crossed on a dead deer that had been laying in the 100 degree sun for a week,,,

thats been around 10 yrs ago and wont ever forget that smell.
and when they went to grunting back and forth accross the ridges to each other will make the hair stand up on your neck and make you hold the hammer back on that 38 S&W with wadcutters in it while walking,,

told my buddy when i got back to the road if someone had reached out in the dark and tapped me on the shoulder ,i was so scared i'd probaly shot both of us before i quit pulling the trigger..lol

its funny now to think back on it but i havent been back into that woods since then..
those coon that we treed in there back then were big and longlegged, and you had to have a dog that had brains and a nose and speed to get one of them treed.

one was so big we had to skin it in the woods, the carcass looked like an extra large greyhound with mimunal fat on it,
if i remember right the hide weighed around 8lbs something.

i wanted to bring it out whole but we were back in the woods approx 2mile +/- and my buddy wouldnt help me carry it out .
those coon in there gave a dog a run for their money..

you got that right,,
i think they might be some kind of genectic mutantic alien that escaped from area 51 and the goverment might not let you keep it if you did catch one,

they would make it and you both disapear so no one would find out the truth..

We were on a cast one night, just up the road was a guy they called "The Monkeyman" , guess because he had a monkey. One on the cast knew about him and asked if he was still around, we was on a farm owned by my ol' buddy's sister and husband. Atlas was old school, when the frost stopped off those shoes came, would see his footprints everywhere. Guess someone saw The footprints and put that with the "Monkeyman" and jumped to wild ideas, when somebody said "There he is", talking about their dog, the cast scattered like a covey of quail ! It took 10 minutes to catch everybody, from that time on when ever we hunted there would would always tell folks not to worry if they saw footprints in the mud, it was just little foot !

lol glenn. back in the 70s me and my buddies was hunting way back in the mountains i mean there wasnt a house for miles. well my old cur dog treed way in younder and when we got to him we saw that he was treed in a hemlock across a creek we called big creek. it was cold and the water was deep and me any my buddies were trying to figure out how to get to my dog and as we were walking up and down the creek we spotted the biggest wet foot print we ever saw on a rock and that scared us to death, that sucker was huge. one of my buddies said lets get out of here so we started to leave and all of a sudden we heard something shakeing in the thick bushes we stoped and looked and the bushes started shakeing again now i was really getting neverous. my buddy which had a single shot 22, said iam going in there boys so he ran in there and never saw a thing. for whatever reason we started walking around hunting whatever made that racket. we got a little ways off and found a cave and we looked down and saw them same huge tracks leading into that cave in the mud. we ran back to the truck lol. them were the biggest boot prints ive ever seen in my life till this day.lol

This was quite a fun thread to read

I however with all seriousness do believe they exist! I haven't watched the show you mentioned, I am not a big fan of those type of "reality" shows but I have seen quite a few specials about them

Also there is a wealth of information on www.BFRO.net that I find hard to discount.

Hey we do got em in Tn

They ain't like them big Northern ones though they just little bitty fellers, strong boogers to. I sell them tree knocking sticks 29.99 if anyone is interested. Me and my buddy at work done found the special sticks here in the woods of East Tn. Garenteed to work.

What's the best bait to use to catch one? Do the dogs tree them or just bay them? Me and Jeff Hester were talking about Yeti's on here a couple years ago and I decided to train a Yeti dog. Do you think he would run a bigfoot too?
