My Promotion went really well. I was pleased to hear from all that were interested.
The two free pups are spoken for and will go to two fine B&T Gentlemen, that will contribute to the improvement of our breed!

A good friend of mine, reminded me of something yesterday and I want to share with all.
I WANT TO THANK ALL THE GRASSROOTS BREEDERS THAT WORK ENDLESSLEY DAY AND NITE TO PRODUCE THE BLACK AND TAN HOUNDS THAT WE HAVE TODAY!
WITHOUT THEM I WOULD NOT HAVE A SINGLE HOUND IN MY POSESSION THAT HAS GIVEN ME THE PLEASURE AND EXPERIENCES I HAVE HAD IN ALL THE YEARS OF HUNTING AND SHOWING AND TRAINING AND BREEDING BLACK AND TANS.

To All that look at my long list of hounds I have in my kennel. It is not a coincidence the hounds I have, are connected in certain ways. In other words I focus my bloodlines on these top hounds; World Champion Buck II, Setum up Ace, Rex, Bad to the Bones Cane, Bad to the Bones BlackHawk, Crockett's Black Nute, The littermates that came from Rex and Buck II, Ragin Skipper, Iron Mtn. Drum & I have a pinch of Albert way back.
I am on my 4rth generation, so all my young hounds will be considered Hurricane bloodline from this point on.
There has been many unsung winners of offspring from my kennel, just waiting for one to win at the big dance. This breeding has proven winners. So if your looking to hunt some quality hounds, I have pups and a few young hounds for sale from time to time.

I JUST WANT TO TAKE THE TIME TO UPDATE ALL THE FREE PROMOTIONAL PUP CUSTOMERS TO SAY THAT ALL 7 OF THE PUPS ARE DOING WELL. 6 WILL BE GOING TO NEW HOMES SOON.
THEY WILL HAVE THEIR FIRST ROUND OF SHOTS ON THE 18TH.
I LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING ABOUT THESE PUPS IN THE WINNERS CIRCLE AND TREEING COONS ON PLEASURE HUNTS AS WELL!

We had a super good time at Jeff Thomley's Ike pup invitational hunt.
We had caravan of hunters and spectators wading through the swamp water on one cast. And we were not so far away from the second cast we could hear the other hounds treein.
I'm pretty proud to say that Shark got the win! He is out of GR.CH. HURRICANE ATNITE LUDABELL and DUAL GR. COOPER'S STORMIN IKE. It was very nice to of met Greg and he did an excellent job handling Shark. I hope to see him make Nite Champion soon.

I'M EXCITED TO SAY WE HAD A GREAT TIME AT THE SENTOBIA, MISSISSIPPI BLACK N TAN SECTIONAL.
GR.CH. HURRICANE CREEK TORA BELLA WON QUEEN OF SHOW AND THE GR CH CLASS!
WE WERE HOPING FOR A WIN IN THE HUNT WITH TAG AND LILLY, BUT THE LUCK JUST DIDN'T FALL OUR WAY.
MY THANKS GOES OUT TO JEFF BROWN AND CHARLIE MCPHERSON FOR THE GREAT TRIP WE HAD!

I've had to buy back half interest on one of my male pups that my buddy is not able to hunt this season. So he is for Sale you can buy him out right for $360. or half ownership at $180.He is 5 months old and ready to start in the woods at just the right age. He is out of Nite Ch. HawkGone and my LudaBell. If you title him to Nite Ch. within a year and a half, I will give your money back.

I still have H.K. (Hawk's Katinjammer) for sale, but if I don't get a buyer real soon, I may keep him. In my opinion, he is going to be one of those top hounds if he gets hunted enough and trained properly.

Well, I'm excited to say I got another new male pup. He is out of Clegg's Northern Skip.
We hunted Dozer with Skip years ago, together, and I think that's what helped make Dozer the coondog he is today!
I sure like his mouth. He's gonna be a goodun! Thanks Keith and Kandy!

I took my 5th generation 4 month old male pup (Hurricane AtNite Big Howler) out last night, with my 2 year old male (Hurricane AtNite Black Rage).
Rage got hooked with the meat, and to my Surprise Big Howler was right in there with him barkin every breath! I can't tell you how excited I am about this. All the long years of training and long hard decision making on what crosses to make to produce the quality I demand has finally paid off.
This is now a line of black and tans that I can call my own. I'm anxious to see how the littermates of Big Howler turn out. I've been getting a few reports and so far they have been good reports.
When Howler is fully trained and in the future; we already have plans to breed him to our female out of Dual Ch. Cooper's Thomley's Stormin Ike, Hurricane Creek Lucy Lou has all the qualities I'm looking for, as her dam is out of old blood going back to fiddler and she has tremendous cold tracking ability and she seems to find a coon at times that no other hound can smell.
