Also had a half dozen people tell me the bench show judge must have been blind for Kaizer not to win the first show anyway, but oh well. He is really shaping up on the bench, and got real deep in the timber Thursday night with Tiki. Next spring I'll have him in the hunts for sure. Have a couple buddies I hunt with 3-4 nights a week to handle one so I can have them both in the hunts. Probably won't be able to make Bussey. I have my daughter next weekend.

The kids

Man Corey the last couple nights she has really done a nice job by herself. The last 5 dumps she has showed me 4 on the outside, and the 5th tree I'm not positive if it was slick or not. It had 5-6 little ones around and grown into it. Could barely see the tree. Developed one heck of a locate.
Last night Kaizer opened and ran a track over a half mile of corn field by himself, just didn't have the drive to push it out himself.

That's good Tulley. Sounds like she is really coming on. Wish I had time to hit the woods here lately. Football and school are really kicking my rear. Seems like there is always somewhere to be.

When you get slowed down a little, and it gets dark earlier I'll have to make it down your way to cut them loose.

Corey, took Waggs out with Sas and Jiggs last nite. She opened some but may have just been barking at the other dogs. She definitely isn't afraid of exploring.

Took Momma's boy out with Jiggs last week. He didn't know what to think. I'm gonna take them squirrel hunting with me monday. That oughta be interesting.

Mow and paint your own field. lol I don't think they'd like it too much if I tried to mow the turf. First game on the new field tonight. We won 45-14. My JV won 55-20 monday night as well. We got a few things to work on but over all it wasn't too bad.

Here ya go Darin. This was taken a few weeks ago. Still a lot of work to do. New bleachers are done, scoreboard is up, most of the fencing is done. Still no track though.

Heck Cory at Cardinal they have to run the cows off of the field before the game...

Your field looks like an NFL field.

I suppose that would cut down on Darens mowing time.

It's gonna be nice when it's all done.

corey congrats on the litter. I came down with carmichael when he was goin to breed that jet dog sissy. Those pups from last year turned out to be amazing! (lucky and chance) im sure this litter will be up to the same caliber! who needs luck when its in the blood?! =)

Posted by Hawk32 on 09-04-2009 08:32 PM:

Thanks I appreciate it. I saw some great things from those two pups last fall. I am going to try and make it down again this fall and go for a hunt with you all. Had a lot of fun last time. Clint has a nice female coming I hope he really likes.

Still going good. Went with Jason the other night. You should have seen the look on his face when he heard Sky locate. Pretty sure he's surprised with her progress.

Corey sky is starting to click. She won't be a first strike dog by any means and if she can get split some more tully will have a winner on his hands. Still needs some fine toning but has come along ways. Plus tully is going to need a hearing aid or something he can't call a dog for crap lol. I think someone else could finish her ont easy enough lol. But no i was surprised big time in the dog ( not the handler) she's looking good. Tully u suck. LOL call me when your ready to hunt again.

Posted by on 09-13-2009 07:10 AM:

Kaizer

Just got back from taking him out. He treed one without any help for the first time. Open bawl on track and the whole deal.

Posted by jason2579 on 09-13-2009 05:07 PM:

Where did u go hunt at and what time? Me and tim ended up going last night devin went along fell asleep after the first dump sat in the truck with tim's wife. We treed 5 last night that little walker female out Hobo and Style snap last night and she flat a$$ lit it up on track and tree. She's going to be like her daddy she don't like sucking hine tit she jumped out in front of squirt several times then when it got tuff he'd leave her but she get caught right back up. Triple chop on tree and nonstop wow. She's a little squealing thing though lol.

Bout 10:30 went to the sand pits and he treed at Meyer's abandoned farm place. The horse took off today while we were walkin around the yard and 3 hours later I get a call from the neighbors a couple miles East that he had their cat treed. What a meat head!

Bryan
Got a decent team. I wouldn't say we are as good as last year but we aren't bad. Got beat in overtime friday. Had to come back from 22 down to tie it.

Tully and Jason
I heard about the little love tap at AO.
