Great job on the shows today. Lance, best of luck in the hunt. A good dog with a great man handling her, even if you don't win you'll both show class and try your hardest, that's all you can ask for. I know you'll both do well!

I was surprised how much interest there was in the mad dog bloodline at the hunt. I had three people (two hunted other breeds) ask me questions. They seemed to have done some research on some of the mad dog hounds. At least some people seem to be taking notice of the hounds. The hounds are doing a good job of promoting themselves.

I was at a UKC Hunt last night and there were Mad-Dogs there (and hunted) that were sired by Joker, Frank Jr, Zip and Turk. Second place was won by a Zip female. The Mad Dogs are promoting themselves all around the country, you guys are doing great...........Tim

I can not wait to see T-Byrd and Spice back winning hunts together. First time in a year T-Byrd asked us to go hunting. He is getting ready for the BBOA Alabama hunt April 2nd. We got Spice and T-Byrd back. People just did not understand the bond that they had. Lance and I thought getting him a new dog would help but he said it just wasn't the same and now seeing the two back together we understand. I have never seen him so happy and ready to hunt it makes me tear up everytime we see them together. You know what they say about a boy and his dog. It is so true. Dana

Alabama State Hunt

Well we gave it our best and just came up short. We hunted with some nice hounds. Congratulations to Jeremy Ritter and Hillbilly on their cast win tonight. Hillbilly did a nice job.

We had a great cast on Friday and saturday night. Everyone got along well and worked out any differences. I enjoyed the two young guys and Wendell on friday. Everyone on Saturday were fun too.

I am really proud of 911 this weekend. Sometimes it just does not go our way. We are looking forward to the Alabama Bboa hunt this weekend. I feel like I have a chance to win each hunt we go to. We've just not gotten any of the breaks yet.

I had two people ask us for pups off the 911 x Tonto cross at the state hunt. I consider that an ultimate compliment. One of the two people had competition hunted with both of them at the hunts. Neither of them are hunting blueticks. I understand that a good impression can be made even when we don't win hunts.

We look forward to the cross and the pups should go quick. Any of our team mad dog members who want a pup need to let Hutch or myself know as soon as possible after we make the cross when she comes in heat. We want to take care of you guys first.

T-Byrd hunted Spice last night for the first time and I hunted K. We had alot of first last night some were good. Looking forward in hunting them again this week.

LANCE: TORCH got his first coon today did a very good job ran the track picked the right tree after checking others and got treed shot the coon out small fight pulled him of killed the coon and let him get a mouth full of fur I liked what i saw.Now we just need the snow to melt.---HUTCH
