Walkerfide once you get Roxie there and in shape you'll have to post a pic of her.I haven't saw her since Mike got her.She keeps getting further away from me and not closer.LOL

Tim any of the three that Walkerfide mentioned should cross real good on your female. The Boone blood cross with the Nite Heat blood excellent.

HOBO...

I will definitely get some good hunt pics of her and post them(now that I know how)lol. I cant wait to get her in the hunts and finish her out. Brandi too. I am gonna be dang sure busy this fall and winter finishing all these hounds. I might have to hire a handful of handlers to get it all done.lol

who has boone's thunder? my friend Grant Tuttle and I started Boone for Fred Guerin when he was here in NY, then brought him out to Ohio to fellow named Jim Arnhold. when he was a pup he was some dog we hunted him in a few hunts, best dog I ever hunted with, if someone could send a picture of him, and knows of a young dog out of him for sale I would really appreciate it thanks!

mike

There is a pic of Thunder on pg 2 of this thread I think it is. Thunder stays at Darrell's out in OK I think most of the time, but I think someone said he is at Mike's to get some more semen collected. I think Walkerfied may still a pup left out of Thunder.

No problem, they are some great little hounds.

Dave here is a pic of your buddies mutt. He eats alot lol. You will freak when you hear the horn on this hound. He's kinda big to, 5 months old and a little over 55 lbs. He's gonna be a hoss.

What Boone bred stud is throwing the best noses and just how good are their noses /tracking on tough tracks?

Posted by Skinner on 10-05-2003 11:09 PM:

All of them.

There are some in all parts, north South east and west. Most all of them I know about are doing well on track & tree. Lots of different terrain.

One Redtick on the board is enough.

ROFL. I hear ya. If I had to narrow it down then I'd say Lobo and Fiddler and Thunder. I hear more of these three than any others.

She belongs to my buddy , he hasn't got the papers yet but she was one of the pups Darrell put on the pkc board not too long ago. Something about her mother being a littermate to an Insane Jane dog?

Posted by DAVE FREEMAN JR on 10-06-2003 01:30 AM:

SKINNER THAT IS A NICE LOOKING PUP. YOU THINK A GUY NEEDS A 2ND JOB TO FEED HIM ? I GOT MY 4TH NTCH WIN ON STORM FRIDAY NIGHT SO THUNDER HAS ALMOST GOT ANOTHER GRNTCH. IF ALL THUNDER PUPS ARE LIKE HIM I CAN'T BELIEVE HE WASN'T BRED MORE. I HOPE MIKE PULLS PLENTY OF SEMEN ON HIM SO MAYBE A GUY CAN USE HIM AGAIN IN A FEW YEARS.

Posted by Skinner on 10-06-2003 01:52 AM:

Dave he may have to. I work 6 days a week AND had to put Mrs. Skinner to work to feed Hi. LOL. I'm thinking this one may be big as him when he gets on up. He need's a diet and alot of room to run right now. Congrats with Storm. Mike said he was sure proud of yall. It was a toss up on a Thunder pup or a Latch pup. The Latch pup I got from Walkerfied is bred like Hi on the bottom end, and bred like Fiddler on the top end. I wanted to throw some more of that "cedar run" into the mix. I have heard some great things on Thunder but I have'nt got the chance to hunt with him yet. I plan to make some crosses with all of them and see what sticks if my females turn out. I know you said you had two buddies looking. You think the other may be interested in the other male or a female?

Dirt I remember when Darrell had that posted. Alot of the dams have Hall-Of-Fame hounds in their ped. and are littermates to alot of the well known hounds. She should do fine.

That pup is a good lookin little dude aint he....I think the female Dirt Devil is talking about is Mikes "Big Kate" female. She is a littermate to Alan Kalal's Minnesota Insane Jane female that was killed recently. Kate is a reproducer and throws super nice pups.

Dave
Congrats on Storm, ya'll have done a heck of a job with him and its good to see him in the hands of hunters. I cant wait to see him go myself. We pick ours up in 2 weeks and hope he finishes as quick.

Chad
I am not familiar with the Boone/Bell cross but Mike remembers everything I am sure her could tell you who owns her and how the pups turned out in that cross.

Walkerfied: No when Skeeter wins the world, then he will be mad LOL yeap she is quite a handful. It was good to visit with Steve again. He was talking to a buddy and missed the 79 exit and got to the 140 yardstick before he even thought about me again. roflmao!!! So he turned around and drove back. Picked her up @ 4 this morning. I did'nt realize he was the one at Oaks. Im bad with names but remember faces well. We had a good hour talk about different things. He seems like a nice feller. Gonna take her tonight and see if she will tree one. Sent you mail.
