LOU
This is Lou the other night. She will still crank It Up. I am liking the Hank pups so far. Haven't hunted them yet at night but they will sure get deep quick in the day time. They will be 5 months Oct. 8th. I have heard of one running and treeing some for about a month now. Hope they turn out as good or better than the Ranger/Lou cross.
Lou and Hank Pups
Lou and her two Hank pups treeing on the first coon they ever saw. Love Lou Pups.
PR Dave's Blue Crank It Lou's Hank

Just wanted to let eveyone know that hank is back in va where he was born and raised and started as a young hound before i sold him to brad garner from Pa.. Anyone interested in breeding to him can contact me. hank is 9 years old now, to my understanding he is still very fertile as of a year ago and james osburne has several straws of semen collected...

Hank/Lou Female
The Hank/Lou pups are doing great. I even heard they bred a female out of Ruger/Lou to Hank and the pups are doing real good out of that cross. Tessa owned by Ron Moore in Picture. She does it all a lone. Good Luck with Hank. Dave P.S. She's 8 months in the picture. She will be one on May 8th.
thanks dave,, she looks like a dandy pup

Just wanted to let everyone know that we found hank dead in his box yesterday, he was 10 yr old and battled some health issues.. I was able to breed him to one nitech female off of smokey... hank was born on my place and me and my dad started him and he was a very impressive young hound that turned into a coondog... I wanna thank james Osborne for letting me keep him the last few months, there is semen saved off hank and he can and will impact the breed in the future.. he will be missed here on our place..... rip buddy....

Dual Gr.Ch.'PR' Garner's Bawlin Blue Hank HTX
This was a fine hound. I hunted him while he was here at Bristol Ridge kennels breeding Lou. This is a picture I took of Hank in Wayne National Forrest Ohio. The pups out of Lou and Hank are making some good hounds. They were a year old May 8th. Hank also bred a female out of My Ruger dog and Lou and they tell me these pups are also special. RIP Old Warrior. You were one of the Best. Good Night.
Sorry
Very sorry to hear the passing of Hank. I have a 13 month old female off of him and Dave Woofters Lou female that I am very high on. He will be missed for sure.

Dave, it's sad that sometime the stud is either so old or dead before we find out their reproductive statistics. This may have been one of those times when you would have gone back to the same well for another dipper full. Hank only fathered 52 pups and several are still young. I would have liked to have seen him get hooked up with a few more good females, like Lou, because he was bred up extremely well and had some real reproducers behind him. At any rate, I can only speak for my Tessa female. If all goes well and she continues on as she is, she will be in competition this coming spring. Id say that a few more from this cross will be as well. Don't forget Tim when/if you breed Lou again, she is an absolute reproducer!!
