Magic is what I have been raising all these years so he is a chip off the old block. Coondog no matter what. trees layup, cold feed tracks, hot track and can hold plenty pressure when he is hooked. Goes hunting good bawl on track bawl chop on tree. Magic is 8 and has one litter on the ground at 8 months old doing well. No big numbers but I believe he can throw as good or better than himself. He has proven he can win.

Gosh I hate seeing this male just sit in the pen and not get hunted. Not sure what I'm going to do about that yet.
Once I finish dogs to Grand I get bored always looking for a new project and I have a few to finish but I'm just going to take my time and enjoy them.

Hey Elmo, you want Magic hunted this winter? I have a buddy right here close to me that just lost his old blue dog the other day. He really isnt looking to buy a hound due to just havng his second child a week ago. But he did mention to me that if I knew of anyone wanting a hound hunted he would be willing to give them all they wanted this fall and winter. If interested let me know and we will talk boss man

He called me tonight to tell me the pup of Magic and Maggie split treed from the old dog and he had the coon and the old dog was slick. Pup is 8 months old I believe. I love hearing that they are happy with the pups they buy from me.

Not hunting much but willing to go anytime if I need to show what these males are capable of. They will tree some coons.

Magic is 8 and his first and only litter started extremely early in the time. 4 and 5 months old. I say he will produce that on most females.

Magic is just sitting around waiting and wanting. I did price him to Bobby Hayes son Brody the other day. I hate seeing him sit when he could be hunted.
Folks he is a nice big hound that nows how to tree layup and any other track he strikes.

Magic finally got a chance to go for a few drops with Dragon and they put on a tree show for sure. Never crossed my mind to take some video.

Elmo were you and Austin able to make a hunt. I am sorry for not being able to catch up with you all. Man I tell you what, between kids being sick for 2.5 weeks straight and throw in b-day parties and other obligations I dont know when I am coming and going at times. I aplogize about that!

Magic get to hunt coon season alone all season with Austin and he will like it instead of sitting in the pen watching everything else go. What a relief to get him hunted.

Hearing great news on Magic x Maggie cross getting it done in the woods Nice big mouths and treedogs with the meat. I think they just turned a year old last week.

Magic is putting some coon up for Austin. I'm so glad he is getting hunted hard this season. I can't hunt him all. I'd like to breed this dog a few more times. He has good things to offer.
