I also got a few texts Saturday nite, congrats to Jess Dickerson who got Janeys full littermate sister qualified for the world with 525+.

Also Chad St. John hunted a pup off Janey in a B&T insectional in AL. Rex treed 4 coon alone and had 675+ but got beat by a dog that came in with 700+. That's the way it goes sometimes. Rex trees enough coon, his time will come

Janey will be hunted in the Lee Crawford Invitational on Thursday night, then put up to let pups grow in peace. I'll keep everyone updated that has pups booked and about the hunt.

Well, we didn't win but had and good hunt. Janey got by herself twice, a den and a slick. Lyla went in quick and treed a coon then a den then took some minus. Other two dogs treed two coon. So Janey and Lyla withdrew to let them duke it out. Lyla's owner, Jearld Keegan is one the nicest guys you'll ever meet or hunt with.

Also this weekend I got to hunt with WLDCH LETTIN LOOSE LYLA, seen her get under a coon quick, and she wants to be all alone. We got to see the pups off her and Bone, they 5 weeks. Very bold and good lookers. Lyla still had milk when we hunted. Also Jerald says she rides in the cab now on the way to the woods,lol.

I just to say thanks to the guys I hunted with Friday nite in Bryant,IN.

3 dog cast. We cut loose and two dogs go right and my female (Jess) goes left. Other two dogs tree and have a coon, we walk off their tree to listen for Jess. We hear her treed, I tree her and we walk her direction. We get where my garmin say 40 yards and in and out of signal, she still sounds far off. Then we see a huge hole in the ground with a busted clay tile about 4 foot deep in the ground. Sure enough she's in there about 20 foot back.

Our guide and other cast member went to the landowners house to get some shovels while I sat at the hole tryin to coax her out. We dug for an hour and 20 mins, takin no breaks. The landowner even came back and helped sling dirt. We finally go her out with out a scratch. There's no doubt they all help save her life. The crazy part is, she was raring to go on the walk back to the truck. I checked her over good and decided to cut her loose on the next drop and she went 380yards and treed a coon. She's got heart!!

So here's proof not every cast is fussin, fightin, and cheating. There's some cast that the guys will bust their back and go out of their way to help a fellow coonhunter. I want to say I greatly appreciate all their help. And it's hard enough to get a landowner to let u hunt their land, let alone come back and dig out a dog for and hr. THANKS!!!!

The bottom pic was taken Monday 5-4-15 with about 3weeks to go.

Yea Blake that's why we call it AFTER DARK KENNELS, cause Jacob never gets to see the timber after dark, lol. Just Kiddin, I hate to say it but he's been puttin me to shame, he's hooked up with some big timers and been goin about every nite. He's gonna have our little Sweat-It bitch singled out if he's not careful. You'll have to come up soon man, kitten will be running and it won't be so d@#n cold, lol.
