Yes, took her Tuesday night. She did pretty good considering I still haven't done any basics with her yet. My guess is I will only have to do one or two training sessions with a live one and she'll take off.

Frog is 10 now and the last litter she had was pretty rough on her. I doubt I will breed her again.

Yeah, as much as I would like to, I'm concerned it would put her to much at risk. Frog does great with helping pups get going so she can help me with that.

It may be time to start a Bull thread anyway. At least he is a performance sire for this year.

One of my favorite pics. This was a few kids we had in our youth ministry. They were at our house that night and I asked them if they had ever coon hunted. They answered no so we found jackets, boots, lights etc and loaded up a very young Frog Dawg. Frog did her job, you can see her treeing to the right of the kids. Great Night.

Youth Ministry

Cute kids. I bet they had a ball. It's great that you work with the young people like that, Pastor, and show them what coon hunting is like. It's important that all of us act as "ambassadors" for our sport. I hope you continue to do things like that. I find that even kids from college towns and young people from big cities are quite interested in hunting with hounds and get a real kick out of the hounds and how full of life they are. A lot of them have read "Where the Red Fern Grows" or seen the movie and enjoyed it, but there is nothing quite like showing them the real deal, is there?

I heard from a person who bought a Jim/Frog pup from me. I asked him how his pup was doing........(they are about 18 months old now). He was pretty pleased to say the least. Dog hunts hard and deep. Very accurate and fast. He's already turned down offers......even the ones that he could just name his price. He is going to his first hunt this weekend in South Georgia. Good luck, hope Dan does well.

I bought a walker female last female and she treed some coons with her. She would be better if she was red. I only bought her because red dogs are hard to find but I’m working with Kenneth Shew on getting a few redbones. Ken is a very nice guy have the up most respect for him.
